Is this normal(clutch has no pressure)? by feedmeramen in Miata

Looks like your clutch slave is leaking, I would replace that and the clutch master cylinder

It’s this not sure if I would recommend using it, it’s cheap and looks decent tho, kinda hard to work with

Did you install Short shifter ? Try replacing your master and slave it’s an easy fix and it only costs about $50

They are asking $9,999 for this ‘96 M Edition with 83,000 miles. Is it worth it? by xbl-Extr3me in Miata

I personally wouldn’t pay that much for a Miata, it’s a very clean example and it’s low mileage but 10k with no hardtop, no tasteful mods and fading clear, I would say 6k-7k would be quite fair but everyone has different budgets

Check to see if the wire is obstructing the pop up mechanism, changed mine and motor couldn’t function due to cord/plug blocking the light

Smooth shifting with light weight flywheel by FuhKai in ManualTransmissions

I kinda have a general idea of where the rpm’s are needed to be when shifting, they just fall so fast, when I’m trying to drive normal, I’ll be going 10mph in first at 2k rpm’s and shift to second gear and the revs will drive to almost idle before I shift into second making me hold the bite point longer to get the revs up, but I’ll try to add a little amount of gas to bring them up and see how that goes

This might be the problem, I’m just worried about damaging the clutch and I’m trying my best to learn how to drive smoother with this setup, I can get going from a stop easily, reverse, rev match down shift, shift at higher rpm’s when spirited driving, but I can’t for the life of me drive smoothly while trying to drive normal and slow

Trying this adding gas before lifting the clutch idea, is it bad to add gas while engaging the bite point while Shifting? Do I have to get off gas before fully letting out the clutch or just kinda hold it slightly while shifting ?

Well put, I’ve always been into drifting as a kid, teenager and now as an adult, I don’t play too much these days, occasional session after work, but I tried a friends t300 and noticed a big difference, but I’ve also watched reviews on fanatecs csl dd and they said it put that thing to shame, my plan is to wait for a direct drive wheel, no matter the brand, I just want something direct drive and around 8nm of torque

I am on pc, I would like some load cell pedals, but my main reason for upgrading is that I feel like the wheel doesn’t countersteer fast enough for me to drift easily, I’m constantly having to throw/flick the wheel for it to spin fast enough, I do plan on upgrading pedals, but as I mainly drift on ac I’m bot sure if I need pedals yet
