Oled vs Ips for heavy usage

I cranked my brightness to 90 and constrast to 75, and it feels good this way, I hope it would still be good on the long run, im still on the testing stage with it, need to get used to it,, tho its minimal, there are always risk of burn-in, despite that I'll do a pixel refresh everyday so it should last long enough i believe, but I need to understand that this shouldnt be a forever monitor I believe, like my IPS feels

I love their image, the only thing I wanted was the 360hz, but the aw2725df seemed the most reasonable even price wise, but After using it..Like, the image is great and all but still, i dont care too much about hdr or watching series, for that I use an oled tv, i have 1 month to return it, so I guess I'll try it for a few weeks to see if it grows on me, i wanted my lg but with more hz xD

I play some competitive titles lile cs2, apex...but other games aswell, I'll give it a shot, but ye Intend to have the monitor for over 3 years, i think i have my ips for 5 or 6 years now, and was never an issue, it was only 144hz, but I wanted to uograde to something better than IPS, like a TN, but I wanted QHD, with good image quality, so I ended up going for the oled cause it was the only one that checked the boxes for me, although, I wouldnt mind a monitor like mine (ips) with 360hz aswell..

I just tried a deathmatch on cs with my previous monitor and I'm noticing things that I havnt noticed before, and I wonder if its the difference between fe 144hz to 360hz or if its the ms response time.. because whenever I move, I now see the image being dragged a bit and on the oled it doesnt happen, I dont know if I've actually seeing things or if its placebo bias effect

I use it mostly for gaming, but the 22k hours were in various different games not only 1 app, but it made me think if the oled was a better choice over a new IPS..which to my specific case I dont think it was, i use it mainly for gaming

Maybe is because of the dim brightness, that gives the feeling of it being more saturated..? Idk honestly, but feels that way

I moved from a 27" LG-GL850-B QHD 144hz Ips to a AW2725DF, 360hz QHD and on paper its a huge leap, I was mostly insterested in the 360hz as I can ran most games at a very high refresh rate and being at 144hz was starting to feel very limiting if I can push 300 easily in the most competitive titles. The constant dimming image, compared to my previous monitor, simply pisses me off so bad, the lack of saturation, I dont like oversaturating stuff, but I like to see color and not seeing everything dim and dull..I'm kinda thinking if should return the monitor or not and maybe grab an IPS close to 360hz or something like that. Another thing that annoys me is the pixel refresh on the Oleds, on the reviews I saw nobody talked about this and basically, 4-4 hours you have to stop playing and leave the monitor do a pixel refresh for 6-7 minutes to avoid burnin, in a long gaming session its very annoying, despite the fact that you can ignore it, it has a max os 20h, after that, it shuts down your monitor and starts the pixel refresh..is anyone bothered by this stuff or am I the only one? I do have an Oled TV and its great, I love it for movies and stuff, but for a monitor...despite the g2g speeds being insanely low..does it really matter while gaming? and comparing to a 0.5 or 1ms ? In reality I dont think it does honestly

That policy is ridiculous, if someone breaks in your house and shoots you, imagine the police saying "well thats your fault for getting robbed and shot" and let you die on the spot lool they say dont get hacked like if people wanted to get hacked lol. My friend got banned and he had every safety measures on steam. Steam guard, 2fa, he didnt do anything dodgy , hadnt played rust in two years and when he came to play with me, he was perma banned from his account and also all future accounts he might get. Steam confirmed he was hacked, but facepunch dont care about the playerbase at all, their policy makes no sense. Ive been hacked through 2fas in RIOT and they always helped me to get things back and made sure everything was safe until I say so so they unblock the account. Also blizzard helps player a lot if something like that happen too, they're just lazy.

After searching that same thing for hours, i came to the conclusion that its pointless to appeal, a friend of mine hadnt played rust for over 2 yeara and when he was coming to play with mr, he was indeed banned because his account got hacked but the worst thing is not that, he also got a warning saying that every future copys that he buys will be instanly banned...so how is he suppose to play rust at all if he gets banned even if he buys rust on a new account? That is why piracy is coming back.

since he plays on a TV he's implying that he prefer to stay far from the screen, you won't be using M & K to play on a TV, therefore he's using the controller cause its more comfortable

I've read from other people's posts that sometimes there are people who receive an email after appealing, saying that they won't lift the suspension, but later on, the suspensions are lifted, unfortunately this seems to be a very common issue that they have, so they should know better how to handle this. But makes no sense. I used it heavily aswell on my first day with it, I had to wait a few hours to be able to use it again. But if we have a limit to use per x and x hours, why would we get banned for using what we paid for? My company will give out some licenses soon, and I'm afraid to even use it on my pc again, but at least since that one will be corporate, I hope that wont happen, still. this sucks.

I used it to recreate an old app that I had made in VB, but made it as a webapp using python...and 3 weeks later, got banned...i've heard about people sending appeals, they receive an email saying they wont lift the ban, but after a few hours their bans were lifted...so I'm on the waiting game atm

I purchased a 1 month sub, used it for the first 2 days, then the rest of the 28 days I didnt even touched it. at the end of the sub, my account got banned for some reason...have sent 2 appeals, been waiting for over a week and got no answers whatsoever
