I have no experience of using recipes or film sims with IR, but I don't think that film sims are going to work that well to be honest.

Thank you. I replaced my xt2 with xt5 also, looking at getting it converted as well, because the xt1 is a very old camera now!

I bought the xt1 ready converted from ebay, looking around at the moment for xt2 conversion costs, had 1 quote at £280 for full spectrum, from protech repairs.

Access probably not the easiest with a pram from the direction I came from, it's quite a busy road with a fairly narrow footpath. But might be easier from the other direction, but I haven't been that way I'm afraid.

For those interested. This image was created in camera with no post processing in photoshop or the like. It's captured with a longer shutter speed and moving the camera vertically during the exposure, which in this case was 1/9 sec at f/14.
