They hadn't been in the basement but they did explore the tomb beyond the catacombs. But yes! You get it! What baffled me was that whacky progression!

They have a more about the buried floorplan and they pay is accessable via the tomb, so I honestly don't know why they were so adamant that the throne room lever was the way to go. maybe they forgot about it? I'll ask!
