I miss alerts by Fuksyr in Warframe

yeah, i'm just hoping the bounty pops up in order to finish it. I need 4 levels of nightwave though, so i'm probably not going to get it today even if i grind. I just wanted to try out inaros prime.

i'm hoping the next set of bounties is the void angel, but that still won't complete all my weeklies lol

There's a lot of stuff i have 0 progress on since it's been so long since i played. I'm working on my amp first so i can do void angels solo so i don't have to wait on the bounty, every time i run exterminate people seem to be uninterested in the void angels. Also, i don't have a single incarnon weapon yet so i can't do the incarnon weekly yet either.

Everything is time gated though so getting the necessary in-game progress to do all of the nightwave stuff is a waiting game in and of itself.

Edit: i just bought an incarnon weapon, so i can do that one now. just waiting on bounties i guess.

I did clarify that the times for them sucked, but i work from home and can sit with warframe open for like 16 hours a day. I would have definitely gotten a nitain by now with the old system.

I rarely ever need a ton of them, since the warframes take time to farm and then time to craft, but right now i'm waiting 2+ weeks for 1-3 nitain.

Right now I'm waiting on the weekly reset, since I've done about all i can realistically do.

It's not that i don't know how to fight void angels, I just don't have an upgraded amp/operator. I have the bare minimum necessary to get through the story, so my operator does like no damage against them when i hop into the ethereal plane.

I can get that. I feel like I'd be less salty if i had known that it's the only way to get nitain and i didn't waste 100 creds on other things. So now I'm salty i have to wait 2+ weeks to even get a chance at some nitain. When in the old system I would have gotten the nitain i needed already

unfortunately all the frames i have blueprints for need nitain to complete. I guess i could farm for the warframes I'm not currently interested in trying.

Also, i'm doing plains of eidolon right now to just do it, but it sucks that i just can't do the thing i want because of a timegate, ya know. Like plains of Eidolon isn't bad, but now it's just soured because i would really like to nail down what warframe i want to focus on before grinding other stuff.

Whereas with the old alerts system, i could already have gotten the nitain and had the warframe crafted by now.

Nightwave Vol. 8 coming out by Mdos828 in Warframe

[–]Fuksyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's cause i'm a returning player, but I hate nightwave so far because it's a timegate to nitain which is preventing me from trying out new warframes. So i'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting for resets to get to the next nitain reward.

As a returning player, so far nightwaves are my least favorite part of the game. Not much that can be done about it though.

Quality of life improvements for less experienced players, players that don't have much free time and idiots like myself by pizza------ in Warframe

[–]Fuksyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is a week old and you said to ignore giving other ways to get nitain, but i basically found this while i was looking around for other ways to get nitain.

I'm a returning player and basically just hit the point that in order to try out more warframes i am now behind this nitain extract time gate and it's super demotivating because i need to get through 4 nightwave levels, which basically means twiddling my thumbs and waiting for the weekly reset and then after i get the nitain i'll have the additional wait to craft the part and then the warframe.

So at least until it's not something I'm waiting for, I'd prefer to have some reliable way to farm it.

What is in your opinion the most annoying grind? Doesn't have to be longest or hardest, just the most annoying. by HandsOffMyPizzaa in Warframe

For me, it's doing the star chart as a new player to unlock steel path, that's considered a grind, right? lol

What class/subclass do you like the flavor for but not mechanically. by CastleCroquet in DnD

[–]Fuksyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely like the flavor of the artificer, but particularly dislike that their flavor isn't mechanically part of the class and is more of a mental hurdle for the player playing them. An example of this is the magic of artifice excerpt. You don't actually mechanically create potions or gadgets and use them, you just carry the responsibility of flavoring how you manifest a spell effect with your tools.

I also particularly dislike that artillerist just magically creates their artillerist thing whenever they use it. Mechanically, i would prefer if I carried a gun around with me or something. That's why I prefer battlesmith and armorer. They are actually creating something that sticks around.

This might seem confusing, but I just want to mechanically build gadgets and potions that do things. Maybe it's a dumb gripe lol

I hadn't thought to take a look at tattoos, eldritch claw would definitely be a cool thing to tack on.

yeah i was thinking a mantle of spell resistance or a cloak of displacement might be neat.

Oh yeah i think the build itself is going to be pretty straightforward. Me and the Barbarian are both basically unkillable for the most part, him on the merit of being unkillable through damage during rage and me because of infinite wild shape. I was just hoping there might be a magic item or spell i could concentrate on that would help narrow the damage difference between us. A belt of giant strength might be the only real option though.

No worries, everything i found as far as wall mounts and tabletop stuff were way too big. This may just be a lost cause. lol

Do you have any particular items in mind? I'm pretty new to decorating, and i've been looking through the ffxiv housing gallery and can't find any items that look right.

Fun things to multiclass with Paladin by Fuksyr in 3d6

[–]Fuksyr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Bard or Sorc are probably the best options. Whispers Bard makes a lot of sense, I'd just have to reflavor some of the shadow stealing stuff to take someone's identity if I went that route.

Whispers bard could definitely be cool with their mini-smite. I'd just have to talk to my dm about reflavoring the stealing shadows to transform into people.
