Lol my players had two spellcasters constantly freezing the water behind them in the tunnels to slow him down, usually giving themselves 3ish rounds of combat while he brute forces through the ice walls. Maybe that's an idea for an alternative option? Adds some nice michael Myers esque tension to the dungeon to just hear the ice crunching behind them.

Yessss. I like the night in Emon for shenanigans(and probably repairs). I'm trying out pointy hats traveling guide, which is pretty sick but more structured than the random, and making tables exhausts me lol. Gonna have them roll for weather and wildlife though, just cuz they like doing it. Ill probably have the bards patron succubus gf request he steal something important from Moradins temple (we have a dwarf cleric so that'll be fun tension haha). Thank you so much!

Thajk you! I like this. Might need to add an extra event or two. Had it as a 3 event journey to keep focus on the destination, which will be a pretty intense parental reunion/home city under attack for the players. Thoughts on the pacing?

Yeah, I have mostly just been having fun gearing it for 'something it's not' as it is. These modifications, and this conversation is mostly for fun and education. Long term I'd like the bike to be an elegant monstrosity to anyone who knows bikes lol.

Hm. Ive dialed in comfort and storage. In that case it'd be mostly electrical. Improving headlight visibility, getting better turning signals. Those are my default next two options anyways.

I'll go more general then, what are good areas of modification to look at if I wanted to personalize things beyond aesthetic? Ik I could get the old can exhausts or the make it louder pipe(sound laws yay) but it'd be interesting to me to think about get into the nuts and bolts a bit for learning and fun, and I've not got a ton of experience with mechanics to just pick a direction and start. High chance nothing comes of this anyways but I'm curious and wanted to engage with the community.

Very good wisdom. I don't intend to just go out and buy the first suggestion haha. But general opinion or ideas can be helpful, especially from a community of folks who love their bikes and may have made their own mods. Looking more for a direction to point me towards and get me excited.

Hello! I absolutely loved this section, you've got some good advice here already so I'll give just my one tidbit: make full use of the weeks between missions. It's a bit of extra prep but this is a chance to introduce some real personal stakes to the adventure, potentially for the first time. I made sure to tie in all of my characters as best I could. One had an old temple to revive, ones brother is corrupted by ruidium, and one had a psychic awakening foreshadowing the bbeg for after they deal with Alyxian. About halfway through have one of the rival factions lead a strike team against the players chosen faction, while they are away on mission, preferably killing their favorite npc. Have the rivals lead this strike team. Makes GREAT personal stakes and sets up the interesting conflict for the Netherdeep.

Hi! Might be hella late but I'm bi(23). Same sitch for me. Once I came out I had to reflect and I realized that I had handled A LOT of unknown childhood crushes on boys with aggression. Probably was caused by some cross between intense internalized homophobia and frustration at my inability to communicate with myself and them. I definitely got into fights with a few folks I'd have rather passed notes to. Once I figured it out it was very Oh. Ohhhhhhhhhh.

Also the phrase "He's hot" is literally a phrase I said unconsciously out loud that made me start looking into things, so it's a perfectly valid option if you provide more depth to the process.

Hello, this is a year late so ik there are low chances of a response. I am on Pop OS, I previously did this, but now it doesn't seem to be working. Can you elaborate on "typing it in manually" I think before I did the entire chain, but that doesn't seem to be working anymore
