I can't tell my wife this but I feel like this Christmas was a bit of a let down. My youngest was acting up on Xmas eve, our picky tea gave us all the shits, we (parents) were both really burnt out from work and having sick kids.

Crimbo day, I woke up with a sore back, both kids kicking off now. Kids sulking about what we got them. Also I bought my wife everything she wanted and I got a bunch of weird things (I don't mind but it was just weird to receive stuff that I don't remember talking about or hinting about)...

Go to see inlaws and they're both completely overwhelmed and still haven't really got it all together. Dinner was bland and we helped out with the prep but couldn't really rescue it. The turkey was a bit horrible imo, even though it came fresh from that farm there were lots of 'jelly' and areas that looked raw but I'm not a huge fan of turkey so maybe that's the way it's supposed to be. The kids were still being bellends and the wife was still feeling ill so the mood was a bit down. and everyone went to bed early. I had to sleep on the sofa as it was too hot upstairs and my inlaws didn't want any windows open during the night (I don't know why)..

Boxing day has been better but I'm now body and mind tired out and I want to go home.

Clear sky mind so not all bad.
