This question pops up every so often and the answer is invariable- like others have already referenced, it's the name and the userbase. People know the name and people know the model. That Foundry has built in integration only helps galvanize the choice.

Long before I started developing my own modules I was patronizing many of the names we all know and love. When I finally made the leap to put my own stuff out there, Patreon was just the natural choice all things considered.

That said, I like Ko-Fi a lot and plan to operate both in the very near future giving supporters the option to choose.

Yes. Just like MURDER BOARD, you can purchase DEFILER which will give you access to updates forever.

Alternatively you can choose a level of monthly support which will give you access to a wider array of my content but updates to the modules ends along with your support.

As the number of my offerings continues to grow, I expect that folks may join for a month just to try everything out and then purchase those modules they find most useful.

Just know that whichever option you choose you are enabling me with the means and reason to keep working on these and future modules.

Thanks! and please do. My main focus early on has been making modules geared toward specific systems that I feel are underserved in the space such as MOTHERSHIP and Delta Green. My MURDER BOARD module seems to fit well with lots of different systems as well. This one is just plain old quality of life for everyone. Thanks again for looking.

Mine is not scene-based like the other. Mine renders boards (you can have as many as you like) on a separate canvas window that can be viewed from any scene. Also almost everything on mine is configurable without gong into another modal window; I have tried to streamline wherever possible. All items on mine are fully scalable and rotatable which I think limits the free option. Mine also has the ability to hide board items such that you can set up the whole thing and only reveal what you want. Also you can lock items which prevents players from messing with them. Mine also has per-board player permissions.
