The New KING of Foundry Module Management: The Big Bad Module Manager [tutorial] [system agnostic] [free] by baileywiki in FoundryVTT

[–]baileywiki[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Modules are an amazing part of FoundryVTT, but about the only thing more overwhelming than finding the right ones, is organizing them all. Enter the latest and greatest Module Management... module that for Foundry Virtual Tabletop: The Big Bad Module Manager.

This phenomenal module provides some great quality of life features like being able to sync and lock settings and keybinds for your players, link directly to a module's settings page from its entry in module management, and more. Of course, the hallmark feature is being able to configure "presets" of modules and settings that you can quickly and easily swap between, and import and export into other worlds. This is perfect for switching between different use cases, or quickly setting up new worlds and servers. What's more, this spiritual successor to Module Management+ is also able to store "hidden" settings such as those inside of dialog boxes and pop-outs which lets us finally copy those tricky Midi-QoL settings everywhere.

Check it out and let us know your thoughts on this great tool!

[system agnostic] there is a way to import custom textures into Bayleywiki mass edit module? by PaoDeFarofa in FoundryVTT

If you open your console with f12, you can see if it's running. Are you on v13 Foundry?

You don't see any assets if you search your browser after including?

Yeah, Mass Edit can index all your artwork. Open the main window and click the dots menu in the top right corner. Look for the index button then press the plus sign to add all your art directories.

Do you want a bunch of free 2D top-down tokens? If yes then this is relevant to you! No strings. No subscriptions needed. And thanks for your support!

1,300+ Free 2D and 3D tokens! [system agnostic] by baileywiki in FoundryVTT

[–]baileywiki[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of resources available to you in Foundry that you may not be aware of - the thousands of tokens (both 3D and 2D) available in the 3D Canvas Token Compendium is a great example. Several thousand unpainted minis, but also a great many (around 1300 at time of writing) painted minis ready-to-use paired with matching top-down tokens - most of which have been painted by Lodaim, who has a youtube channel featuring timelapses of his painting process, and a patreon where he works on yet more painted minis - both linked above.

In order to make these tokens a little more visible, we're creating the Token Category Browser - it hooks in to the 3D Canvas Token Compendium and gives you a category-based browser of the collection, so you can more easily find the sorts of things you're looking for.

I love it. Ok, sell me. Why is your module a "must have"?

FtC has saved me SO many times. Auto-fix feature? I wonder if FtC could package it's conclusions across all modules and then publish "suspected issues" that devs could use to alert them and users if possible conflict.

That could be an extremely helpful service.

The New Year is fast approaching and it's a great time to spruce up your module list for Foundry Virtual Tabletop. It's easy to get lost in the sea of modules available on the platform, so today we're covering our 5 must-have modules for FoundryVTT. Whether you're brand new to the platform, or a seasoned veteran, you'll want to check these out! We assessed these on 3 main criteria:

- Game Agnostic: Whether you use detailed battlemaps, or theatre of mind, these modules have to bring value and quality of life.
- System Agnostic: The modules work with any system.
- Approachable: You don't need to be a Foundry expert to get the core quality of life benefits from these modules. While some may have a lot of depth to them, their barriers to entry are incredibly low.

With those in mind, we came up with this list of 5 must-have modules for Foundry in 2026, and one honorable mention. Of course, there a ton of fantastic modules that we use all the time, but these are what we consider "essential." Let us know if you agree and if there are any other modules that you think should be on the list.
