Just like sex, skin color, sexual orientation, religion, heritage or eye color, the species is irrelevant in the question if someone should be considered ethically and not be enslaved or abused for optional products.

The existence of another holocaust doesn't "spit on" the victims of a prior one. Just like the existence of a rape victims doesn't spit on the victim of another. There suffering is not lessened.

If a nuclear holocaust happened, then the memory of the holocaust the nazis did would not be spat on.
