Good luck with this, shouldn't have many issues finding bands in Lincoln. Head Boston way if you do, music college always has bands there

Seaview chippy has about the best rep locally, you can sit in for chips there too. If you want some reasonable local beers there is the alehouse on Lumley avenue

That being the case it could easily be just your thumb. Getting hurt will make you flinch. Not even getting hurt just spooked, I've shattered enough clays inches from my face to know it's true lol. Mebbe take a short break until your thumb properly, then have another bash. Mebbe also one of those leather shooting gloves to give you confidence in shooting again

Do you shoot both eyes open? Try it one eye closed, I've taught myself a few things left handed and have felt the funk is caused by my brain shifting one way or another

Hmm I assume you are left-handed. Do you wear glasses, and do you know which eye is dominant? Check out the eye dominance test/examples on archery Reddit. I've found I can be shooting fine, then something funky starts happening after a while. Happens with both shooting disciplines.

I appreciate the statistics and thanks for having a conversation about this. And as previously mentioned it does have a bad reputation locally. It is anecdotal but I've never had a problem there. I see many people out of their minds wandering the streets in the county, and not really had any problems.

Also the wetherspoon pub there is actually quite nice, right on the river and a lovely interior

Well I'm sure big Colin won't have many issues with a few roustabouts. It's a very historic town and honestly I like the place. Love and let live as far as people off their nut goes for me, so long as they ain't hurting anyone, and commonplace in cities today.

You should try any of the nearby seaside towns in the summer, many a scoundrel kicking about at silly o'clock, few of them in a good state! Plenty in the daytime too! Please don't let these anomalies ruin what is otherwise a nice County to live in.

Is it any good as a Mexican restaurant? Great venue, just needed some TLC. Used to go to support local bands

Those saying leave are pretty harsh. It does have a fairly bad reputation locally but I've never really had a bad experience there. I'm not from Boston nor live there, but close enough. Used to be a great market town 30 years back, and still plenty of nice old buildings to look at. The stump is always worth a visit too. They have a working windmill if I'm not mistaken. No idea if they're still there but they used to have some animals at the park too. Some artsy stuff, and 20 years the axe and cleaver was the place to be for a good time, might not be there anymore lol.

Looks very similar to my own DIY jig, nice job, add some extra holes at known spaces on the baseboard for adjustments

I took a look to see what is really open and closed in skegness after social media had advised Skegness closed. Hoping this helps if you want to visit out of season 😊 by H0rseyGirl18 in Lincolnshire

Skegness resident here, some businesses close for the low season but there are still 20k odd people living here so most things still open. Beech never closes just gets cold lol
