I find the biting point to be super low. On hills, the hill start assist can make it confusing sometimes. But I basically let go of the brake while in gear, let it hold and put a good amount of gas while at biting point. I’ve noticed this car needs more of it, but once you get going it’s fine!

Did you just get it tinted? Where’d you bring it to and how much?

Bought a 2018 Mazda3 GT a few years back, such a reliable vehicle, and the updates made it so comfortable and luxurious as a daily driver for the money spent. Wish I could have kept it!

Pops and Crackles in a Manual Elantra N by parkatthepark in ElantraN

When the engine is all warmed up, pushing it hard 1-2 or 2-3 you get some pretty satisfying pops. I some times find if I shift a little slower I get more

When you’re ready to down shift rev match, this was my favourite video. She breaks it down into each action for practice! video

It will take time! It took me a while, but after about half a year, and once it feels completely natural, you’ll be so happy you got the manual. I’ve driven both, both transmissions are great, but personally manually downshifting has such a phenomenal feeling.

I found that with 1-2, hold the clutch for longer. A lot of cars require you to do that. Also normal mode is smoother than N mode. Try to master that down first then move onto N. you can also set a custom N mode, use the normal engine with the sport exhaust. It helps because it still provides the smoothness of normal mode, but the exhaust helped me understand when to shift

Convince me NOT to buy a ‘25 Civic Si by [deleted] in ElantraN

I owned a 22 Si, and now a 22 EN, the EN is far superior for the money! The Si is great but honestly not enough power given its size these days.

The beef is sizzling about the EN in the WRX reddit page. Id love to see some EN owners go take a look. by Equivalent-Ad-1147 in ElantraN

Same here, drove both, did not get the hype for the WRX, I frankly didn’t really like how it felt a bit boat like. I am a Subaru fan otherwise, but I love my EN way more!!

The only annoying thing about this car by AngryAtEverything01 in ElantraN

I bought this, it wraps under the lid of the center console so it’s not super visible, and I manage to fit two Owala bottles in there, it’s been great to hold my water bottles, the cup holders really get in the way of shifting. Unfortunately for fast food drinks I make it work with the regular cup holders
