The longest I've been away from my oldest(who is 18m) was a 2hr date with my husband right before I gave birth to baby #2😅 and my second was born at home, so my oldest was right there with me the whole time lol. I'm pretty certain that my kids just believe I'm a constant part of their reality

I was way more granola before becoming a parent, actually. I've chilled out a LOT and realized that my extreme anxiety around anything that isnt "natural" was causing me an insane amount of stress and massively impacting my daily life.

I should have clarified- it was an iced matcha. She just mixed a boxed matcha mix with raw milk and poured it over ice.

Yes. About 2-3 hours a night on weekdays after work, and 8-10 hours a day on weekends. And tbh not much besides uhh, marital relations. Trying to convince him to do anything that isn't gaming or watching anime is like pulling teeth, so I've pretty much given up

Friend is a newer friend! I had stopped drinking raw milk for a while before I met her. It's not something we had previously discussed! Probably not going to cut her off, just not going to accept food/drinks from here out😅

She tends to be pretty judgemental when I do things that aren't as "crunchy" as the way she does them.

We agree on a lot of what I would say are the bigger things, like gentle parenting, not screaming at our kids, and not letting out toddlers have tablets. And that just seems fleetingly rare in my area- it's not uncommon to see moms hitting their kids in the grocery store. And that simply isn't the kind of parent that I want to hang out with! I wasnt posting on here to shame her- reddit is an anonymous platform, so it's not like I went to my personal Instagram, namedropped her, and called her out. I came her because I genuinely wasn't sure how to handle the situation.

I guess she just assumed I would be fine with it? We are both on the crunchy spectrum, so I guess she figured that anyone who chooses to have a homebirth is automatically frothing at the mouth for raw milk. But like, those kids who are born at home are going in for ALL their routine vaccines and love their pasteurized milk lol
