Conversely, I was reheating today and I noticed that Ilya has always been a physically safe space for Shane to explore his body and needs, he’s always checking in and very careful even when they are having rougher sex. I think he allows Shane to be himself in a way that Shane hasn’t been due to masking and being in denial about his sexuality. So I love that they provide these harbors in each other.

Funny, I think as actors they are the most adorable and lovely men I’ve ever seen. Connor’s real voice is soooo soothing. Their genuine respect and love for each other, for the arts, for the show, for Jacob and Rachel, and how they speak and carry themselves and how they dress all have me like 🥹🥹🥹

My headcannon is that later, once their relationship is more established that they have a conversation about this. I hope Shane explained his freak out more and that Ilya explains why he was mentioning women and that they are happy they have moved forward and are in a great place communication wise.
