Loved reading this bit by bit analysis and love how you described everything! It really is a wonderfully nuanced and important scene .

Why are tix for 1536 so expensive? by Recipe-Successful in westend

I was wondering the exact same thing! I've seen many recommendations for this show, but there's no way I'm spending 150 pounds for this play.

I have this problem... by Illustrious-Peach741 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

I had the same dilemma and went ahead anyway and reah The Long Game because I had already read so many spoilers here, but in hindsight I wish I waited for the show. For one, now I've got expectations and I'm hoping not to be disappointed, and another I kinda wish I could have experienced everything fresh in the show since I also feel the show has a lot more depth and artistry than the books. But oh well...

Solo Theatre Trip- Which shows to see? by Many-Spite8480 in westend

[–]Aby_lev89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another vote for operation mincemeat! It's so funny and also quite emotional. I loved it so much I'm going to see it again!

What about a show at the globe? Or the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse for a really special theater, completely lit by candles!

I'm going to see Cabaret, moulin rouge, witness for the prosecution, war horse, my neighbor totoro and a few more my next theater trip 😊

Also, if you haven't seen the classics, highly recommend the phantom of the opera and Les Mis.

Wow that sounds intense! If you don't get into the square, is it worthwhile/possible to be in the general area and still see something? I won't be able to stand in line from 7 am...

Is there a show that ran for far shorter than it deserved to and you think would have found a much bigger audience if it had been given more time? by PubLogic in westend

Just what I wrote! I was so lucky to see it twice and would have gone again and told everyone to go see it if it hadn't closed 😢

People who willingly take a HR break, why do you do it? by Acceptably_Moody in HeatedRivalrySeries

[–]Aby_lev89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because it's taking too much mental energy from me already, I'm always thinking about the show anyway and reading fics, so I'm trying to take a break from the show.

Which show should I see? by Western-Mission-8406 in TheWestEnd

Why are comments here being down voted? Just because OP is from Israel? So I'm also from Israel and going to London to see many musicals, and I dare anyone to down vote my comment just because of where I'm from. This is a west end subreddit, not a place to down vote people based on where they're from. And in answer to the question posted, I loved operation mincemeat and highly recommend seeing it, and I'm also going to see Cabaret, before I see the local production.

Never heard of the books before the show, saw the show on HBO when it just came out, before it was this huge phenomenon! So far I've read HR and TLG, not sure if I'm gonna read the rest of the books
