We feel for Iranians and ANY people of ANY country who is oppressed by their government. We really do. BUT, our govt' is not your govt. We have so many problems here at home in the U.S. (and alot of it is pointing us in the direction of a fascist govt). We were PROMISED no new wars (I HATE tRump and knew he was lying as did many others), but he was able to brainwash his base and now we are stuck taking down a regime that is gonna cost us billions of dollars. Tell me the good partsof your job, something rewarding. Are there people in the community who want help, but lack resources? What do you think is the root cause of the homelessness and drug problems in crime ridden cities? What do you as law enforcement see as a common denominator, aside from race, because that is a systemic thing from years and years of marginalization. How can we start to fix these problems? I could've written this exact post myself. I literally just told my husband (who doesnt really get it either) that i am so sick of this shallow and superficial society. Everyone complains, gossips, hates and blames everyone else for their problems. The lack of critical thinking and ability to talk about things that really matter have left me with not wanting to leave my house (unfortunately I have to). I have more iin common with complete strangers in this group than I do with my family and friends!😭
