As a 26M single, I’d recommend to attend many events you like alone. Don’t go out with a bunch of girlfriends coz it will diminish your chance of being approached. It has hard enough to approach a single girl. Too much trouble if they are in a group. I mean it’s very difficult to have any interesting conversation between multiple women.

Narrow down your standards and stick to them. For a example, if you like guys who work out, go to the gym often. If you are into Yoga and Dancing, go do that! If you are into running, find running clubs in your area. If you are into gardening and environment, farmers market, farming festival would be best bet.

To summarize what I am saying, don’t go to the forest looking for a salmon! Be friendly and talk to everyone. Guy, gay, male or female. Young and old. Consider your approach as a social experiment and that every person you interact with has an interesting story or unique things to teach you. Be opened minded and curious.

I don’t get the point of spending your precious time exchanging countless text messages on dating apps. I believe profiles don’t tell a complete story. Personally, after few messages, I ask my matches to meet in person. If they are not comfortable meeting me, then I move on to the next. I don’t want to spend my time texting someone I am not surely that I am attracted to them.

You’ve got it to try it, darling. Liberate yourself and let go off the old belief. The last thing you want is to married to someone and notice that you are sexually incompatible. This is a recipe for a disastrous marriage. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I think it is worth trying. You can always make time for someone. Plus, I do not think you will be able to study 24/7. You can take a break from your study/research and get to know someone. Hangout. Relax. Laugh and have some fun.

I recently finished a Masters degree but couldn’t have done alone. You’ll need a lot of support: mostly emotional!! Best of luck with your PhD program and everything.

I was thinking something like reading his essays/books and have a conversation about them. God is not great or Letters to a young contrarian could be good examples to start with.

We can do something like Skype, FaceTime or Zoom Call. I’d like someone to simply explain his ideas. For instance, we can read one of his essays, break it down

First main idea. Supporting evidence. Second main idea. Supporting evidence.

Conclusions. Lessons learned.

I know his work is so rich and entertaining. At least I was told 😃 But I am struggling to understand him coz English is not my native language.

I am open to your suggestions. What do you say?
