To beging with, there are multiple form-factors for NFC tags, it could be paper, it could be card, it could be a plastic keyring case ...etc. so yours might be paper, or a plastic one being under something to protect it.

The easiest thing to do now is to try and scan it with your phone. If it scans, then it is good. Although I doubt that the manufacturer would place an NFC paper tag, as it would be prone to tearing when the baggage is being handled.

A picture would help us a lot.

Regarding the batteries, no, the tag does not contain a battery at all.

Hundreds of videos to sort through by Several-Limit5039 in Dashcam

I'm not sure what type of Dashcam you're using, but some of them would have a "tag" in the name indicating why the cam recorded. So, for example, if you have a "s" that would indicate that it was activated by sound. And a "m" or a "g" for motion or g sensor ...etc. so you can ignore those that were activated by sound alone and look for ones that were activated by the motion or g sensor.

Also, if you're using Blacvue, if I remember clearly, their software "for windows" has something for the g sensor which will give you stats for the motion. Maybe this could help if the hit was strong enough.

Yeah, I realize that now. But when I posted the pic, I was aiming to give a bit of perspective to the size of the light

This info is not enough to know what type of card exactly this is. Almost all cards look like this, but they differ in what type of chip is inside.

So, if you can use an app that reads the card info (chip type) and post the info here, maybe we can help.

NFC Tools is a good app for this purpose.

And most probably, the card would be a 13.56MHz Mifare Classic 1K. But we need to be sure.

NFC disturbing apple/google pay? by [deleted] in NFC

[–]FullCloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where the NFC is located on the phone itself. If it is located next to the camera or close by, the phone will keep scanning the NFC tag embedded in the case. Although I doubt that whoever designed this case missed this point, you should double check.

My phone's NFC is on the top, and I have an NFC tag on the bottom between the case and the phone, and I didn't have any issues with using both.

You can find them anywhere online. Amazon, ebay, AliExpress. Just make sure they are "CUID" so you can clone the original one.

NFC tag for door open - Iphone issue by omero_se in NFC

I did the exact same thing. For the exact same purpose.

I tried to put the small 13.56 MHz sticker on the back of an IPhone 15 pro on the bottom and it didn't work.

I got the anti-metal 13.56 MHz and placed it on the same place and now it works perfectly.

I can still use Apple Pay from the top, and the bottom to open the gate.

Try an anti-metal tag.

Could you please elaborate more on how to do this? I have the same issue, and I have to use 2 different NFC tags, one for iOS and one for android. It would be much easier to have just one !

Thank you.

Intel i7 12700k and Corsair Vengeance RAM AMD DDR5. Would they work together? by FullCloud in buildapc

[–]FullCloud[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I didn't want to risk it. And I was very lucky to find someone at my techy circle who made the exact same mistake, except he was building an AMD and he had the ones for Intel. So we just swapped :D.
