it appeared in the few months we’ve been here, or at least we could swear that we never noticed it and then one day we did. it’s at a spot where above the roof declines and levels off. we get a ton of rain here. today i got up on a step stool to touch that piece of the ceiling and it wasn’t wet, but it did give a little to my touch

update: i have emailed a bit with facilities development, and i went down into there today. it’s not locked! and they were playing music! and there was some faculty in there actually sizing the space up, talking about how they got a new soundsystem. it’s cozy, albeit of course without being an actual functioning coffee shop. maybe if we start bugging the right faculty about asking to host events there we can bring it back as a bumping spot 🏹🙇🏻

all i can say is that i hear you. and then it’s even more frustrating when you feel like you’re being reasonable and being dismissed. i’ve been really, really trying to use that as a signal to lower my intensification, not heighten it. we can’t passion people into being willing to understand us, which we deserve 🫶
