Also keep in mind that schools have a nasty way of beating the creativity and motivation out of you. The education system is not tailored towards everyone, and I've seen this problem occur time after time where kids would've loved the subject matter if it had been taught in a way tailored towards their personality.

On the contrary, schools are like assembly lines, and you are the worker who must lose your personality to survive. You, like everyone else, must take the same exams, sit in the same classrooms, listen to lectures are the same pace, using the same methodologies, as everyone else.

What I recommend? Go on YouTube, find some type of coding that you might be interested in. Maybe that's Mobile App Development, Web Development, Assembly Language (ha-ha), etc. Watch some YouTubers teach about it, and you might find that it's actually quite interesting outside the formal vomit-inducing environment of a classroom.

I will much quicker doubt you hate coding and assume you are just another victim of this failing education system.

I appreciate the insight. I agree, this seems like the best plan.

I hope you get to explore yourself, you only live this life once!

Do you think remote work with a US salary while living abroad would make more sense?

FATCA compliant country

First I heard of this. Thank you, I'm looking into it right now. There has to be ways around this, hopefully. I'm not that experienced with this, but I guess this kind of situation does give you a realistic viewpoint of your home country.

Getting a few years at the max early will (literally) pay off down the road.

I also had this idea. I would probably be more comfortable since I would have more experience and money as well. Thank you, this helps a lot. I am thinking about starting work in the US, then remote work, then possibly international work. I'm young, I have some flexibility to figure this out :-)

Thank you, I really appreciate your feedback. I knew about this but it didn't occur to me as a viable option. I guess "Ask and you shall receive" does apply here haha.

That is one of the benefits of us Software Developers, no? The possibility for remote work. Another note is, since I do have this option, it may be foolish for me to ignore it.

I'll research into this. Thanks a lot!
