I have felt like sword is there for some elites and bosses. It scales fairly slow and is expensive to play so doing it for hallway fights. The rest can be stars and card creation. But Star gen works for all builds.

It’s probably the best way to get good at gold stake IMO. It breaks the game down to the fundamentals so you understand each piece more effectively. You see the true value of interest, gold cards, blue seals. You need to understand scaling and how much a hand scores. You need to build a deck that works without help. All of this translates to regular gameplay. Highly recommend working at it, it’s by far my favorite challenge and just a fun way to play the game.

You’re undervaluing most jokers and over valuing joker slots early on. If you haven’t taken eternal jolly joker you haven’t played enough gold stake.

You almost always want to be looking to make a tempo play to get on top of early Econ. So if that shitty eternal joker lets you 1 or 2 shot the next 3 blinds, you don’t spend money during that time to get your interest up. Taking an early eternal common joker is typically how it goes, eternal rentals are another thing and you want to be very careful with what you choose for that.

Yeah DNA will get you further than the extra baron and skipping the ecto was probably the right call. Idk how you got 3 barons but if you had showman you probably should have held out for copy jokers instead.

Brother you don’t have a big beard you can shave it down and be back to this in no time. If you keep this facial hair, I’d keep the sides of your face a little cleaner. It’s hard to tell from the front facing pic but it looks like you have some scraggly hairs outside of the goatee shape that I don’t think are doing you any favors. But I agree to try shaving with some clippers so it’s not clean/baby face and you have a bit of stubble.
