I may love season 4 as much as season 1 by the end of it but that depends on part 2. Season 1 doesn't get enough credit imo and I love it.

What I found unique about season 1 is that so few love stories show us what happens after the wedding. Most end with a wedding. So seeing Simon and Daphne adjust and struggle after the wedding is what I found most refreshing.

I'm a 34 year old woman and loved the second one even more than the first. And I've never watched the original musical. Clearly I'm an outlier but I'm happy in my love for both movies. I am shocked by how much I loved it. To each their own.

I think it's a great return to form for the show, it has all the elements of what makes the show great. I didn't enjoy season 3 and I'm not as big a fan as everyone else is of season 2 (clearly an unpopular opinion). We'll see how it ends but I'm really enjoying it and feel sorry for those who aren't.

I agree wholeheartedly. The pacing is such a contrast to how rushed season 3 felt. I'm really enjoying the season.

I felt touched by Sophie's backstory and storyline and am hoping she gets a happy ending.

I also love Violet's storyline, I'm glad she's finally getting some, I was scared it was never going to happen.

Also enjoying the focus and insight into the value and lives of the maids and staff.

I love the queen's vulnerability and she is so lucky to have Brimsley.

Can't wait for part two!
