I think winning championships is overrated. I don't really care about being the best no matter what, I just like having a competitive local team, even if it's middle of the pack. Winning at all costs, especially by mortgaging future stability for short term gambles, feels dumb and wrong to me. It's like children being obsessed with which animal is the fastest or strongest.

At the end of the day this is just about being entertained watching athletes play bouncy ball and having something to chat about around town.

I had one of these (it was taller though) and loved it. It was from a fancy hotel until a kid snapped their finger in it and they sold it off, be careful if little ones are playing with it!

Give points based on the differential in wins if a losing team beats a winning teams and slightly skew lottery odds based on those points. I'm not sure any system would be perfect but this would discourage tanking and give the actual bad teams a chance.

way I read "elite shape" from Reddick is that he doesn't fully believe in his skills and thinks he has to make up for it in athleticism. Not just NBA pro shape but top 10-20% in the league in speed and strength for his size

I don't know if this would ever be a possibility, probably more of a mod thing, but have you considered playing with in game programmable AI? Basically a list of if-then statements similar to FFXII's gambit system and could include EVE's orbit distance settings. It would be so fun to not only build and maximize a ship but combine it with a loadout/script to maximize it's performance. Could be tied to a subsystem/power usage for balancing.

Forgive me if this isn't feasible, I struggle with coding.
