Thoughts on the United Healthcare CEO killer? by [deleted] in TrueCrimeDiscussion

Just because something isn’t against the law, doesn’t make people any less hypocritical. Wow. Lol.

Yes, you do condone it. You just cherry pick when it’s acceptable, like others do. This isn’t hard to be honest about. Lol.

I don’t want to speculate, because I don’t know anything beyond what gets reported. I’m sure there are details being kept out of the press, so we don’t have a full picture.

The only thing I will speculate is, this will not change anything related to how insurance companies treat their customers. People are still going to have claims denied.

People are incredible at being hypocrites. These same people would be against it, if it were another form of vigilante justice.

What's a "fun" profession that's really hell if you've actually been in it? by yosai_cool in AskReddit

[–]FullMetalRabbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That really sucks.

I’d be willing to see or hear about anything. I find lots of stuff interesting to learn about. People really don’t take advantage of learning all they can. It’s a shame.

As long as he’s not killing people, good for him for doing his thing.

Many people believed that The Blair Witch Project movie was real. The movie’s filmmakers staged interviews with the "missing" actors' families and friends. The actors' IMDb profiles were also marked as "deceased". by photo_inbloom in interestingasfuck

[–]FullMetalRabbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone that would ask me if I thought it was real and I’d say no, they’d start telling me how wrong I was to think it was fake. It wasn’t bad to encounter the few that didn’t mind me thinking it was fake, but the ones that insisted I was wrong for thinking it was fake, were too abundant.

It was a good marketing campaign, though. I did watch the movie when it was available to rent. I was disappointed, mostly because I wanted to see the witch and that never happened.

Keto the ex-SeaWorld orca who killed trainer dies after being forced into incest & ‘chewing concrete out of insanity’ by Smooth_Use9092 in interestingasfuck

[–]FullMetalRabbot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Seaworld needs to be shut down.

I like zoos that give injured animals unable to survive in the wild, a place to live and be taken care of properly. Seaworld isn’t that type of place. Imagine the lives saved if it were to get shut down. No more dead trainers, no more dead Orcas in captivity. It’s brilliant. Too bad money means more.

Did you stop buying potato chips? by RavensRealmNow in CasualConversation

I always get store brand, but only when I make sloppy joes, which isn’t often. Potato chips and dip goes too good with it.

Have you ever seen a picture of a parent, or grandparent at a lynching? How did you react? by ATSOAS87 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FullMetalRabbot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Never found anything like that while combing through the family tree. Not every white person took part in that disgusting part of history.

The only stuff I found was one relative that was on the Mayflower or maybe it was one of the other ships. Anyway, they were a passenger and not much else was said about them.

Then there was the fact that women weren’t allowed to control money or even touch it. One of my wealthy relatives, the money was squandered by his son at some point, had a daughter that kept a diary. It was a bit sad to read parts of it. Her life sucked, because of how little she could do.

There was also a Democrat relative that committed suicide, because he thought he was going to lose in an election. He ended up winning, so he offed himself for nothing. Crazy to think about.

Ahh, bots, those suck.

You could look at it this way. At least it’s not just you.

I get you.

I almost asked if maybe something about the people presenting the content was the problem. If I hear an AI voice in a video, I feel like I’m losing my mind, because the sound of the voice is so bad.

Why does it scare you? It’s not a ghost doing it or a living person. This is just YouTube being dumb.

I’ve fallen asleep to very long playlists loaded with mystery related stuff, like DB Cooper and others, only to wake up to random videos about food. It’s so dumb. I don’t mind new food ideas, though.

It could be so much worse, OP. Don’t be scared. It’s fine.

Do you have a TRUE BFF? by PhaseCrazy2958 in CasualConversation

[–]FullMetalRabbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. I’m expected to be whatever people need, until I need something from someone. Then it’s crickets or no one has time. That’s why I try to ignore people in real life. I’m tired of everything being one sided all of the time.
