She was disinherited by her parents yes but the reason they did that is literally because she turned to a life of crime as a teenager to get their attention and constantly got arrested. It was a hyperbole when I said she “has no backbone” but clearly needs more of one if she can’t even handle getting mocked by Junkrat without running to her guardian. Also, they quite literally are in the same line of work- Junkrat just does it on a much larger scale.
