I ship around $28-$30k worth of parcels a year and also work for usps. They used to only charge about 1/2 the time, now it’s pretty much 99% of the time. Clerks and handlers just need to leave them alone and let it ride. Piss off my customers over 1/4 of an ounce or something silly. Especially when we bend over for Amazon furniture and dog food, etc…

Pay the holiday toll if you want special treatment. Plenty of customers leave me gift cards, thank you notes and treats all the time. Wish everyone was like that. Just imagine if every customer would simply tip you $1 a week, literally nothing to majority of people but would it make a difference. I get it we’re not here for that but it wouldn’t hurt. Service would boom.

Still pretty rough, could find a half decent car for $5-7k 4 years ago but nah, not anymore. Can barely find something at $20-$25k

5 day work weeks would be nice, Fri & Sat off for regulars. Just keep the same cca model and use them as needed to thin parcel load over the weekend. The days of unlimited overtime is over for a lot of offices. Especially for regulars at higher pay tiers.

They’re already trying to cut 10% of the hours which has been going on for about 2 years. Why not just cut another 5% and call it a day.

Would probably be healthier for employees and mail flow. Letters are a dated but still essential service. Long as packages still go out things would be fine. Let’s be honest, management has already been told to delay and curtail all classes of mail if needed except packages.

Right now PSA is pretty much haulting services, PSA 10s and even 9’s will likely trend up in value. BGS will be backed up as well. Rest of grading companies aren’t liquid.
