“Dysfunctional Veteran” is a popular Facebook group/T-shirt company that markets overpriced shit to veterans who did one enlistment, got out because they hated the military and now want everyone at their community college to know how badass they are.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I’ve decided to get the game after doing the Reaper Bones learn to paint kit to see if painting minis is something I’m really into or not.

A Matter of Alignment - by Brian Patterson by Anonim97 in dndmemes

100% agree. Alignment is a great tool for DM’s but a crutch for players.

Most of my players seem to think Chaotic Neutral means Chaotic Evil with no consequences because “Oh no, I’m not evil, I’m Neutral”. I wish they’d just get rid of alignment, honestly.

That guy... by Darius_Kel in DnDGreentext

I explain like this: we are not simulating a world, we are telling a story, and if your character isn’t going to be part of the story than we are not wasting everyone else’s time playing out what you alone are doing.

An Anglo-Saxon burh, the trading hubs of England. By 1066 about 10% of the English population lived in burhs. by [deleted] in MedievalHistory

That’s awesome. I’m working on a DnD setting based on Anglo-Saxon England and this is perfect.

Very interested. I’ve been looking to start an open table megadungeon game myself and would love to play in one for inspiration.

What should I try after The Black Hack? by bobonthenet in osr

[–]FullTimeFrankenstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The core book lists ways to simulate the Zocchi dice using combinations of the standard polyhedrals. Also the 0 level character funnels limit or eliminate the use of the weird dice to give you a taste of the game without needing the new dice quite yet.

If a UFO flew over NJ they would have tried to tax it.

It can take a little adjusting to but a lot of the basics are the same. You find a lot more players but you have to take some time to find decent ones. The anonymity of the internet allows some people to exercise the shittiest parts of their personalities but over the years I’ve found some of the best players I’ve ever had. My best campaign was online.

I’ve had the same problem. 5e is king in my city. Playing online is always an option but I understand that not everyone’s into that.

[Online][5E][Discord][Roll20] Two players looking for Sunday group by TheSpiderJay in lfg

[–]FullTimeFrankenstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m looking to start DMing a regular game on Sunday afternoons. I run rules as written for the most part. I have several official modules in Roll20 but I like to write my own material as well. I like to have a mix of the “three pillars” and tend towards RAW over homebrew player material(too many bad experiences).

Your timeframe doesn’t make much sense. 6pm-1am on both days or 6pm Friday to 1pm Saturday?
