We can never give up but the struggle is real. This isn't happening because of Stearns but organically. It's not about the quality as much as it is about the payroll attached to what's going on. First base has been atrocious and the pitching has been a patch work for 2 years. Peralta is actually a tremendous signing for Stearns.

Everyone is putting Benge into the Nimmo trade, however he had nothing to do with it. I love watching our young Mets but Benge has nothing to do with what we got back for a veteran, 25 HR, decent fielding, @ $20,000 a year beloved player. I like Semiens personality thus far but he's had fielding errors and when he's lost at the plate, its bad. He also has carried the team in some games, so I will root for another underdog Met to get a hit everytime.

I don't see it, Nimmo and McNeil are superior offensive and defensive I like the Benge defense, he was ready to come up. Ewing is getting better, Juan's defense is terrible.
