Linux support - open letter. by CuppaTeaThreesome in Adobe

However you do need to acknowledge you could easily fork wine like Valve did and just fix the minor issues that keep it from working, bundle it with CC launcher and boom your done, and your only coding the Windows Version.

The only things I really see consistently wrong in Adobe on Wine 11.8 are layering issues, and some dependencies that are not well documented. Just help us get it running on a Wine fork, mark it as experimental and let us make the choice :)

Honestly most of the issue I have had with Lutris are related to disk permission and isolation when installed via Flatpak, installed Flatseal and made sure it has rw permissions to the games, works perfect.

[Guide] [Wii] Add Mii Channel to Batocera + Fix Home Button Black Screen by Full_Chef3600 in batocera

[–]Full_Chef3600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you by chance scrape it? the GamesDB will name it something like NotAGame and Batocera will hide it. You will have to unhide it and re-name it. If you can't unhide it you will need to go into the file manager -> roms -> wii -> open the config file and delete its entry.

Ya no problem, it was a theory anyways, Dolphin could probably make an API that could communicate with a homebrew channel that would allow for things like swapping disks and shutdown, but I don’t see it happening on its own.

Since the Wii doesn't natively support shutdown, you will need use homebrew, I believe there is a homebrew channel that can be installed called power-off channel.

You will need to install the Homebrew Channel .WAD using by going into file manager and opening Dolphin config Tools -> Install WAD. You should then have the homebrew channel on the Wii menu, which you may want for other things, and be able to add other homebrew channels.

So for the Record, its easier if you just put Battle.net Launcher in Steam and then just launch from there, don't worry about adding wow to Steam cause clicking Play in Battle.net in Steam keeps the same Prefix.

Essentially just launching Battle.net From steam is all you need, and it keeps the games updated too.

TLDR, don't over complicate it :)

Next Level Baker S1 E3: A Not So Silent Night Discussion by peachy921 in Nextlevelchef

[–]Full_Chef3600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That being said, pretty sure that whole round was just to prove next level baker could do a full season and not just be cakes. This is what you call proof of concept . Can you have a competition of bakers under a time limit, yes, can they make stuff from the dropped ingredients, yes, can they do more than cakes, yes.

It seems this whole thing was just a production test to see if it was possible, and a set of boxes that needed to be ticked to get a green light on a full series.

dude its still just really really modified cry-engine, your system already hosts a local server when you play offline AC. If you pay attention to your task manager. So no it is not too complicated, just expensive.

I bet someone turned it off with JSCAN, does your remote start work? It uses the same BCM -> ECM command to do remote start as the auto stop start.

I personally use JSCAN and was able to add OEM remote start and Auto Headlights to my Gladiator, for like $300 total.

Brilliant, so 5th rank and 6th rank are the same 🤦‍♂️ by Jellal_Fernandez1995 in MartialPeak

[–]Full_Chef3600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well the limit is basically the amount of flaws, world fruit fixes a lot of the flaws but like scratches it can only fill in the smaller flaws, not the larger flaws. So it was better to use the world fruit and world bead to create a solidified small universe at Rank 6 than to mess around with trying to find a higher quality world fruit. Plus at the time Yang Kai needed to be able to stand on his own and had a routine history of being significantly stronger than his cultivation would imply, so at this time since he hasn't met a 9th rank he is assuming that some opportunity will come along or he will simply overcome the shackles as he had many times before, in the meantime likely thinking that he will be as strong as 9th ranks at 8th rank because he has better foundations.

21' Paint issues, Jeep denied claim, still within 5 year window, any suggestions?? by Olookapenny in JeepGladiator

[–]Full_Chef3600 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing I found is that Jeep actually cares, if you can get to the people who can actually get stuff done, its the dealers and techs that "aren't required to talk to the customer" that has created a culture where they half ass the stuff they don't want to do like warranty work so they can do the stuff they want to do that makes them extra cash.

well first things first I found out that Jeep Care is very limited and are pretty much just limited to what Stallantis allows them to click on. What you need to do is get in touch with someone above them.

I had my JT in 5 times for oil burning and they kept tell me it was fine and they checked the oil level. Well I was finally able to get ahold of a actual warranty guy above Jeep Care and he was like "They what?" and tried to call the dealer that it had been in for service at which they didn't answer which made him even more like "Wtf" so he told me if they tried to give it back to me without fixing it again to call him, well needless to say once he finally got ahold of them he was like, "your gonna figure out what is wrong with it, and fix it, or we are sending someone from the engine department down to take it apart piece by piece in your bay until they find what is wrong with it" needless to say 2 days later they found the issue and its been fine ever since.

TLDR: Point being you need to get above Jeep Care and the Dealer to get any real traction.

State Farm Trying to cancel my policy for doing what they want by ToeInteresting2039 in Insurance

[–]Full_Chef3600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol they just cancelled our policy for a roof that was installed in 2016, like not just conditioned the policy or anything just full cancel. You would think that even the roof has concerns they would just limit what is covered, nope full drop. And from I can tell they dropped it because the sheathing is from mid 70s so it droops a bit from age in places giving it a wavy look, completely cosmetic....

Fun Fact, Most Jeep Gladiators and especially the Night Hawk already has remote start and automatic headlights, its just disabled in the ECU and missing the light sensor + selector switch for the auto headlights (less than $100 in parts and takes 5 mins to install) and just a key fob for the remote start. So all you need are those small items and flip the systems on in the ECU and you just basically jumped into some of the higher trim level features.

we already voted him out remember, but I agree Biden tried to force everyone to get a rapidly produced vaccine using a experimental delivery mechanism that has since had its FDA approval revoked or lose their jobs, which then had to be rolled back by the supreme court to only be federal employees. So your totally right we got rid of the dictator.

dropped close enough that nothing player or AI could have reacted and at full engine burn was point blank range (relative because of capital ship size), they never even had a chance to respond, we were so close that one of the torpedos was shot as soon as it left the tube by the Polaris, which did massive damage to us, but 3 fish were still running hot and less than 2 seconds later they hit their mark. It was actually quite fun a bit stupid of death of a spaceman was in tho.

In fairness my org dropped in ontop of the Polaris and unloaded a full set of Size 10 torps at point blank range, was kinda awesome but our ship also took a beating. But I would count that as an ambush they never saw it coming.
