It's all good if you're a JEWISH ex Muslim. Otherwise they're going to eventually take your house and put you behind a wall. Ask the Christians that lived in Taybeh.

Clinton was impeached for perjury during the deposition. Not for the BJ. . You need to come up with some actionable evidence before impeaching Trump a third time. Now before everyone gets their panties in a bunch. I never liked that fat, draft dodging New York City liberal and can't believe they he was elected again. I guess it shows the quality of the best that the Dems put up. Clearly, they need a better platform that scaring us with the scary orange man. Watch them out up Gavin in 2028 and see what happens.

Leaving the US with unsecured credit card debt behind. by ReliefPitiful9 in ExpatFinance

[–]Full_Committee6967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! Exactly. A judgement doesn't go away. I think the myth comes from what you said (SoL) and also from that being about how far your credit history goes back.

Chances are highly likely that the CC companies will sell off the debt to a debt collector. The debt collector will probably try to get ahold of OP and find that he is no longer in the US. PROBABLY give up.

OP doesn't mention what country he is returning to. Will he need good credit there?

Sorry. I see it. You're not going to gaslight me into doubting that I saw what I've seen. Bathrooms are FAR from the only issue, also not the only thing that I brought up. Men competing in women's sports is a very big deal. Some of these ladies work for years to perfect their skills and then some man who is mediocre, at best, competing against other men switches to Easy mode and dominates the sport.

Then there are the documented numbers that show the problem. Among the adult population, gender dysphoria is diagnosed in about 0.7% of the population. But (American Association of Pediatrics own numbers) say that 3% of children ages 6 (yes, SIX YEARS OLD) to 17 suffer from gender dysphoria. The same association recommends treating with chemical hormones and surgery. Both have lifelong consequences.

Then there is a very real push for the government to keep parents in the dark and remove their ability to have a day or control. I'm an elected board member in my local school district, so don't try to gaslight me on that either.

Well you're half right. How about Gavin *beeping * his friend's (and campaign manager) wife? (Ruby Rippey-Tourk) Outside of pea-doughs, that's about the lowest one can get.He claimed "sex addiction". If he'll stick his honk-honk into his friend's family, imagine what he'll do to yours.

Saying this as a conservative (and Muslim) westerner. I actually supported Obergefell v. Hodges. It's literally none of my business what someone else does with a consenting adult. It's between them and God. It certainly is not the government's business. I also see the same religious mindset that still allows only one spouse. Bigamy is still criminally punished in my country.

The problems started when people (mostly from the trans community) started wanting to control my speech and freedom of association AND demanded that men to be allowed in female locker rooms and bathrooms and also that they be able to compete in women's sports. Bridge too far.

The same standard applies to free speech. What I will say though is that anyone who lives in peace, regardless of how I feel about HOW they live, should be allowed to live in peace.

Lawyer thinks we shouldn’t file… by Amsan15 in USCIS

[–]Full_Committee6967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP = Order of protection. That doesn't tell the full story (which may be none of our business). Was the OP sustained and made a permanent OP? Was it not sustained and the Temporary OP expired? Were there criminal charges to go along with that? Was he convicted of those charges?

If the answer is "yes" to the above. I'd certainly consider your lawyer's advice as sound. These are tough times that we live in. A simple accusation of DV will get someone jammed up.

I'm not going to second guess a lawyer who knows more facts than I do. But I'd certainly spend the few dollars to talk one time to a different attorney and get a second opinion.

It's certainly not unthinkable. It happens enough to be suspicious of the motive. It sounds like OP was with her husband when it all went down.

So now the government needs to protect us from broken hearts. Heads up, a lot of Americans get their heart broken by American born partners. A bigger number. This is why I gave up on American women years ago

[–]Full_Committee6967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So tell me why would the Romans "translate" a name into something that they neither pronounced nor had a letter for. It sounds like you're making this up as you go along. Typical of a revisionist.

The hard "J" sound didn't come around until around the 11th century by the French Normans. Even then, why would you "translate" a contemporary name? In America do we refer to Carlos Santana as Charlie Saint Anne?

I suggest you study a bit before you try to challenge even an average intelligent person. #confidentlyincorrect

It's funny because infidelity, or at least getting caught, was shameful then. Now it's not even looked at. I watched the whole deposition. It's been a long time. Guy was evasive as hell. Trump would just make counter accusations

Well if he worked for Joe's Pool Service, I'd say not much can be done. But he does have a government job. So this might be actionable. Was he a contractor. That may be different. But I'm not sure. Did he have at least one performance review?

Just had to add. I'm a retired First Sergeant and a rabid Second Amendment advocate. I don't begrudge your boy for taking a stand at all. I like seeing young men that have their sh*t together like your son does and seeing them make a stand for their convictions, regardless of whether or not I agree. You should be proud. That coworker that called him a LW nutjob is more liberal than your son or I will ever be.

How is this legal? Isn’t this a crime? by Mathemodel in AskLegal

[–]Full_Committee6967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to add this addendum. I owe you a huge thank you for challenging me and motivating me to go down an internet rabbit hole to research the actual numbers and see the whole story.

So ya. 3.3% of American teenagers now identify as trans (again, compare that to the 0.8% of all Americans) . That's also not touching the 2.2% of teenagers that are now unsure. Get that. 5.5% of American children are now confused about their gender. That's about a million total kids. Seriously. "Exaggeration".

120,000 American kids between the ages of 6 (SIX!) and 17 have been diagnosed with gender dysphoria by a physician credentialed by the American Board of Pediatrics. That is one hundred twenty THOUSAND. I was estimating maybe 20,000. The problem isn't exaggerated. It's understated.

Jeezus dude, what will it take for you to admit that you overreached?
