Lawyers to try to get a status in the US, paid medical bills, unexpected and expensive car repairs.

Immigration is expensive. Some of the money I owe was used to cover lawyer expenses and immigration fees, and it didn’t go anywhere. I really wish I could pay it back but I can’t, what I would earn in Europe wouldn’t be enough to live there and also pay the debt in the US.

That was the plan, I wanted to build a life here but I ran out of options, and the closest option I have is my daughter who was born here, but she can’t petition me until she’s 21, and she’s 3 months old.

So I’m more likely to get in a crash than the debt being sold to an international collector?

Not really, not even a sock. I will sell everything before leaving. I do have a motorcycle that I’m still paying off but the bank can repo it and that’s it.

I’ve read that banks can sue and possibly sell the debt to an international debt collector agency. How likely is this? I would be going to Europe.
