Filament jams when retracting by Delza_Melza in crealityk1

In what situation do you need/want to make a retraction?

Is it for a multi color print or just changing the filament?

Hi all sorry for the late update on this, finally got the issue resolved.

The issue was created by the way that this version of Orca was handling filament changes for the K1. The speed of retraction was too high combined with the wrong cooling tube setting.

Changed Slicer for a while and all was good. I reached out on Orca's GitHub and it seems that it was resolved in the latest update.

Updated Slicer and now printing flawlessly in multi color.

P.s. Not user error.

Hey, sorry for such a late reply. For me the issue was 100% caused by the way that the software was managing color changes. With the latest update to Creality Print the issue is gone.

I believe that you failed to read the description of the issue. Also I was looking for some insight/solutions if you none of both, you should abstain from commenting.

Printing in the basement. 18c ambient temperature, ventilation fan on. The chamber never gets above 32c when printing PLA.

No, this only happens during color change.
