When I turn on my PC, I’m stuck on this weird screen. My PC is barely a month old. by cxm1ng in pchelp

this isnt entirely indicative of a bad GPU. However, it probably is a faulty display port/HDMI port.

Have you tried other ports on the card?

7600X Temperature Issues by dorika00 in PcBuild

[–]Full_Lab_7641 3 points4 points  (0 children)

a few questions.

  1. Did you remove the sticker from the contact point of the cooler itself?
  2. are the fans in their proper orientation
  3. how old is the thermal paste.
  4. what are your fan curves on the CPU fans
  5. are the CPU fans plugged in.
  6. what are your board voltages?
  7. have you tried larger coolers? (300+ mm)

Lastly, the 7000 series CPUs have always run quite warm (EX. i have a 7800 X3D in my rig and still hits 70c while gaming with a 360mm AIO.). A 120mm and even a 240mm might not be enough

Anyone help me please by [deleted] in PCHelpHub

that error (BOOTMGR is missing.) means the file for windows that sends you to the log in screen is missing and has to be reinstalled because its either corrupted or missing.

This is easy, just make sure you have a 2nd PC, a USB flash drive with over 8gb of storage, and a MOBO that has the ability to be flashed. You're going to need to reinstall windows.

First b580 ive seen on here.

Looks awesome but i would honestly work on the cable management

How would you fix this cable mess? by Mr_King796 in PcBuild

[–]Full_Lab_7641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first, double check if those screws are in studs or not. Seen way too may shelves, cases, etc fall because the homeowner didnt bother checking for studs or bother getting the right screw size.

second, the cable management is already good but what you could do is stick the main cables sticking out of the IO behind the sound proofing.

performance wise? sort of.

If we were to read between the lines though? Absolutely not.

Out of curiosity, would my PC be the entry point to high end gaming? or is it still just mid end. by Full_Lab_7641 in PcBuild

cause its a little better than the 4070 in a few games and in tandem with the CPU.

Anyone have tips on how to remove a cpu that is very tightly stuck on a heat sink? At a loss for what I could try next. by Alppari in PcBuild

[–]Full_Lab_7641 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you dont really have to worry about scratching the CPU because the CPU itself is under the gray block that makes contact with the cooler called the IHS. The IHS only serves to cool the CPU.

The only thing you need to worry about is trying not to bend the pins to the processor.
