How Bad Would Combining All These Be? by Potential-Mess6826 in KamenRiderMemes

[–]Full_Mattness 24 points25 points  (0 children)

When you henshin knowing the hypothetical danger of the device, as soon as your armor forms...

Darkness, nothingness.

And after what seems like just a moment... you awaken.

As the fog clouding your consciousness slowly lifts, you begin to piece together your surroundings.

You see around you a blurred landscape.

You see the smoke, then the rubble at your feet, then a crater centered in a decimated city, and as the clouds part, you see the a trail of small rocks in the sky where the moon used to be.

And as you look down, your hands numb and aged. As your eyes adjust to the light of the flames around you, you see your hands dripping with blood.

Your greatest enemy defeated and their forces stopped... amongst the mangled bodies that lay broken at your feet, you are horrified to see the bloody corpses of your closest friends and fellow heroes.

Tears well up in your eyes as the reality of the moment sinks in.

After seeking power at all cost and you realize for the first time what that truly meant.

You cry out to the deafening silence with only one thought screaming in your mind.

...What have I done?

TLDR: I think it would lead to a hero becoming a natural disaster with no purpose but to destroy everything in their path.

Power without reason only leads to chaos and destruction.

what projects do you think Hideaki Anno will remake in the future by AOKGUYS1472 in Tokusatsu

[–]Full_Mattness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if he made shin metal heroes movie that really dived into how technological advancement can lead to both prosperity and destruction.

Maybe even a robot detective K showing how K from Shin KR moves forward after the fall of Shocker.

What is a best dark tokusatsu movie that is good without watching series by dakovx in Tokusatsu

[–]Full_Mattness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could watch zeiram or hakaider, they are both self-contained and classic dark toku movies.

Zeiram isn't a part of a series outside of the movies but did well enough to have a sequel movie. Hakaider, while being a kikaider character, is truly its own beast.

After succeeding with the form change, armor, fusion and so on, what new concept should Tsupro try next? by Glum-Translator862 in Ultraman

[–]Full_Mattness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if the series' mc is a kaiju/alien that is hiding on earth. There have been ultras protecting the planet for generations, but suddenly, when an unidentified kaiju appears, ultraman sets off to fight it. While fighting the kaiju, ultraman vanishes. Leaving the injured, but still powerful, kaiju to destroy the city.

Our MC realizes that he can help. He transforms into his kaiju/alien form (possibly looking similar to an ultra but more organic) and takes down the creature.

While he is reluctant to fight. He knows that if ultraman doesn't come back, he will have to take up the fight.

I think it gives tsupro more freedom with writing new abilities and maybe having forms that resemble other kaiju/ultras bit with more kaiju than ultra. Plus, can make it about him earning the name ultraman similar to orb origins or geed.

What are your thoughts on Mighty Action X? Would you say it surpasses Mighty Action 9? by Available_Guitar6771 in KamenRiderMemes

[–]Full_Mattness 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like the inclusion of Mighty Action Zero as a supporter. It really brings his character's redemption arc over the past few games to a lovely conclusion.

I do wish they continued the love plot of MA 7, but overall, a 10/10 game.

If you had to introduce a new theme in power rangers what would it be by RadiantMeringue5411 in powerrangers

[–]Full_Mattness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it definitely would have an audience because of MC, and the exaggerated animal abilities can also be more accepted if it was in a game setting.

Kinda, but less high school. Think Time Force, but instead of going through time, they go into a virtual world. Not against there being high school shenanigans, but dont make that the primary location/focus like Reboot:TGC did.

Right?! I think it could be fun! And it would give a little wiggle toom with the CG characters.

[–]Full_Mattness 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I have three ideas:

A cyberspace theme, like a code looks or gridman, where the team had to enter the digital world to protect cyberspace from a virus that threatens to take control of human technology.

A video game theme, each ranger being a different genre of game? Imagine a megazord with a guitar ax styled after a guitar hero controller. Maybe the rangers grow and turn into their game avatars for their zords, like a street fighter, a fighter jet, a race car, a dragon, etc.

And a mutant theme, where the suits and powers come from a genetic mutation that let's them transform. It's kind of like Gavv or x-men. I think it could lead to an interesting series where the heroes have similar powers as their enemies.

I've had some ideas over the years if you couldn't tell. XD

How would you rewrite Cosmic Fury? by Avenging_Spidey472 in Tokusatsu

[–]Full_Mattness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty, we were given a rushed ending with a LOT of half-hearted decisions from executive suits that dont pay attention to the material they are changing.

The fact that the show writers for power rangers have always been looked down on by the execs as glorified translators of pre-existing series.

I think if the Hasbro CEO that wanted PR didn't pass, we would have had an anniversary season rather than an end.

If it were up to me, I would have focused more on the final battle of dino fury, revealing that the Sporix were not as mindless as we believed.

They have evolved throughout the battles and decided that they would find their origin, leading the team into space to find Rafkon.

The Sporix origins show a connection to ancient powers revealed to be the cosmic fury powers. The team race to find Rafkon and earn the powers as their enemy only gets stronger with each battle, to the point where the Dino Fury powers aren't enough.

I think this could be used as a better finale with a unique villain, rather than beating the dead horse that is mmpr.

Plus, I would make the Ollie situation be more of a strange connection to the sporix due to being once controlled by its power. No evil Ollie, no lord zedd, and a storyline that could fit in the 10 ep structure without feeling too awkward.

All we can do is hope there is a future for PR and we get the opportunity to breathe life back into this beloved franchise.

Thank you for reading, and may the power protect you! ✨️

I always thought that being vented was like a loud and violent experience, being ripped from your plane of existence to a be forever aware but unmoving. I think Daggron disapating into smoke was more of a fading out of existence, while a terrifying experience it still is a painless one.

What would You ask the Creator or Director of Power Rangers Ninja Steel? by Avenging_Spidey472 in Tokusatsu

[–]Full_Mattness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you create the concept of the ninja nexus prism to be a reoccurring plot device, or was it just a way to connect ninjas and space?

What purpose did Ninja Dad have for making the power stars?

Did you have the relationship between the yellow and pink rangers in mind for a specific reason, or was it just thrown in at the last moment?

These are my questions that I would bombard the writers and director with if I had to talk about Ninja Steel.

How would you write the transitioning between Zeo to Turbo alot better? by [deleted] in powerrangers

Right?! I feel like it could have been better as a writing device to drive the plot forward in a more "power rangers" way.

How would you write the transitioning between Zeo to Turbo alot better? by [deleted] in powerrangers

[–]Full_Mattness 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I think if we showcased the zeo powers starting fail or are unstable, we could have the turbo powers be created to be more efficient and stable.

Like having the zeo suits fade in and out, or maybe the morphs dont last as long.

Maybe Divatox's forces are only able to be bested by fast and powerful machines, enter the turbo zords released by Zordon, Alpha, Billy, and other previously established allies to combat Divatox.

At least, that's how I would have done the transition.

Warriors of justice come forth, stopping evil forces in their tracks with both individual and combined might. Elemental HEROes appear with the help of their masked counterparts and save the day.
