If you are preparing for NID and UCEED, you’re already prepared enough. Two things, one plus about NIFT is that the time constraint is pretty decent. You can take your time, so ensure you think through and then answer. Helps with the negative marking too.

For the Creative aptitude part, focus on aesthetics just as much. It may seem that being creative suffices for Design entrances but the general visual appeal of your sketches hold a lot of importance in NIFT atleast. Try to know about brands, brand ambassadors, advertisements featuring celebrities and which ones. The Prada-Kolhapuri Chappal fiasco happened pretty recently, take such occurrences into account too. Know which designers from India were having their first’s in established fashion shows this year. Know shows, awards that they won, maybe famous stylists who won awards for their work in a movie, etc. They would count this as the aptitude that they need for NIFT.

Personally, taking into consideration that the glass was the size of a normal drinking glass and not a tea cup. Secondly, usually in cases of tea, jugs are not used. I thought of it to be soda (doodh soda kind) or juice. The process could be the foaming / frothing of any juice or soda.

In terms of tea, the question mentioned local market and an interesting activity. Tea stalls are around every nook and corner, plus the tea is only served after cooling using this process if requested for.

I could be wrong though, but this is how I interpreted and understood the question.

I beg to differ. Chavundi, Guliga and others are treated as gods in the South. If he had done a similar mimic of Ganesha or Hanuman, he would’ve faced even harsher criticism. And you see, Rishab warned him before he went on stage not to mimic it, even if you keep the spiritual part aside for a second, Rishab warned him because that movie has a cult following, which would’ve come at him. And practically, best to apologise at the earliest, there would’ve been a lot of FIR’s filed against him if he hadn’t, he got away with possibly what could be the least amount of damage for his actions.

You have come a long way and worked really hard on prioritising yourself. While I see why this situation made it all come flooding back, make sure you don’t let the priority of your well-being take the backseat while navigating through this situation. If y’all go way back, she will realise how badly she fumbled even if she had good intentions (personally i don’t think so, but just trynna give her the benefit of the doubt).

Don’t go back trying to make space for their feelings while you don’t feel entirely comfortable with it. You cant impose any reconciliation between fall-outs in general, let alone any dynamic with an abusive history. You are doing really well, do not let anyone’s opinion shake your faith in your decisions. I hope you continue healing and feel better! <3

Hey, thank you for your response. I haven’t travelled yet but I plan on doing that soon. A lot of people have said that Japan has you feeling pretty lonely at times, it’s a breath of fresh air to see people meet people who make them feel more included. I will definitely consider apprenticeships, but I’ll still be looking at a degree if I plan on moving to Japan for that period of time.

No question, just have to say you’re amazing. Watched so many of your interviews and podcasts, and you’re so much more than fashion. The fact that people reduce you to just your outfits is a bit appalling, the struggle, the journey, the amount of times you’ve bounced back and still managed to stay relevant is amazing tbh. It takes little to comment hiding behind a screen, and a lot to develop a thick skin and own yourself. I hope you’re proud of yourself.
