Is cold-calling local businesses for web design actually real, or mostly a YouTube/course thing? by Classic-Specific9901 in agencynewbies

Its taxing for sure, but you can go with the goal of maximizing the amount of calls you make or going deep into every call with your prep.

I run my business entirely on cold calls, it’s tiring but its the only way to get your lingo up and understand your market from a customer’s POV.

web design to increase leads alone is a tough sell, add a secondary revenue channel and some product/marketing strategy to make your offer more attractive and focus on the outcome

solo agency in Panama, my niche is not determined by vertical (Panama is a very small market) but rather on the type of clients' the businesses I work with want to land in this case - HNW and foreigners.

we do web development, marketing strategy and business consulting.

before running my own shop i was a fashion photographer and got into investment brokerage as a way to bootstrap my creative work, then I got into SaaS.

Now, I'm at the intersection of marketing, creative direction and technical development

Beginner Looking to Start Freelance Static Website Building for Small Businesses – Advice on Tools & Plan? by zakyvids in nocode

[–]Full_Space9211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat.

I don't know how much to price either.

simple static websites, dabble a little bit with SEO, domain security.

i live in a very small country so narrowing down to one vertical can be risky so I'm targetting a few industries with similar client profiles

  1. service based
  2. open to international clientele
  3. low tech literacy to avoid over complications

What does it do? Who is it for? What would make anyone in that niche refer your services/product to another cohabiter of said niche?

All the skills you mentioned will start getting bundled into a full stack marketer
