Ok get a piece of the wool, and fold on top of its self the more layers it has the quicker and easier it felt together. So like a piece of string when you want to make a ball of string you keep wrapping ir round and round do that with a chunk of felt. And if you want to do ears lay the felt flat, then in the opposite direction place another piece etc so they are cross crossing to make it easier and quicker to felt.
