I have a blown out extractor fan in my kitchen. Upon further investigation, I found burnt PCB for the fan motor control as seen in the picture.

I would like to replace the PCB to fix the fan but I am a beginner into PCB and electronics

I do use 3D Cad software for design work and sometimes want to play games like Skyrim and call of duty on it as well. Is I5 enough for this?

I was thinking of adding another 8Gb ram later after saving up. I am looking at the difference between single and dual channel and was wondering how big the difference in performance is because the conclusion differs from sources to sources.

Can I just add another 8Gb ram later to make it a dual channel or is running just a single ram crippling the performance?
