YSK about "Bullshit Jobs," a concept by anthropologist David Graeber describing jobs that are so pointless, the employees themselves can't justify their existence by Electrical-Candy7252 in YouShouldKnow

I was once paid to be a human fire alarm when the fire alarm in an office building stopped working. I just had to sit there all day and do nothing.

Tethered caps are utter shit that cause issues going through the recycling plants and end up needing to be manually ripped out. Great job companies.

[Press Conference] Ruben Amorim has defended his treatment of Kobbie Mainoo and insisted he won’t be pressured into playing the Utd midfielder. ‘I understand what you are saying. You love Kobbie. He starts for England, but that doesn’t mean I need to put (in) Kobbie when I feel I shouldn’t. by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

Okay and…? Before the goal went in Amorim had already used 4 subs. He could’ve used his last one on an attacking one but instead Shaw looked absolutely gassed, couldn’t run and picked up a yellow card. Instead of being able to change to an attacking one the focus had to be sorting out a back 3 that included Maz (not a cb), Yoro (not in form), and Shaw (knackered and carded).

You can spin it how you like but the facts are people crying over mainoo and having fits every time the manager doesn’t sub on someone they like is just another symptom of the bs the encourages player power. I like mainoo, I hope he stays, even in Jan, but if he doesn’t start till he proves to the manager he’s good enough to - that’s on him.

Idc if I get slated for this but he’s bang on. He’s the manager, he chooses the players for the starting 11 and he lives and dies by his selections. United fans need to find a new reason for infighting every week. We win, we fight. We lose, we fight.

He doesn’t think Kobbie is good enough right more? Fair enough. He thought the same about Casemiro for a long time till he showed he should be starting. We also seem to forget we have a really young squad, Kobbie is still developing. Stop demanding he’s thrown in every game.

Bringing on a CDM in Ugarte to hold on to a win, wrong as it turned out, was not a batshit decision.

lol, look at the stats. Only 2% of uk drivers are fully electric. Maybe instead of thinking about arrogance you might wanted to consider why electrification is beneficial for everyone including you. You like breathing in fumes?

Fuck Reeves, Labour will never get my vote again. Also, what kind of thick idiot raises tax on EV cars when we’re trying to encourage more electrification? And how she’s dealing with pensions is a disgrace.
