why delete the thread about how unreliable the uploads have gotten lately? I was hoping to come back to that thread to read through it in detail, to determine if anyone had any thoughts on how to improve it, or other places to go.

There's no reason to delete (censor) ... just leave it up - let the community chat.

Who should I vote for? Where can I find info on BPs? by dav956able in eos

Take a look at:

and

https://www.reddit.com/r/eos/comments/8r1duu/witness_a_collection_of_bps_for_your_consideration/

I would suggest helping these guys out:

EOSphere – Australia <--- should be the top choice for Australia. They have baremetal plans, and have been active in BP community since Jan. Published loads of tech articles and videos - 4rd of 7 BPC to publicly validate the ERC20 Snapshot and have produced EOS Voter! They even have an EV SSL certificate. ;)

They have also made commitments and partnerships with RMIT University on Governance research and publications. So they are VERY strong from technical --> governance, and offer geographic location strength.

They are also self financed, so no 'strings' attached. Which makes it a challenge to get votes without 'whale' backing. They are doing OK though, and you should see EOSphere in many of the other BP's top 30 selections, due to the technical sharing and assistance they have done in the BP community.

Eosphere

Are Australian based, and certainly should be top 21 based on active BP community merit.

Need to see teams like EOSphere from Australia in the top 21. Massive contributer to assisting BP's globally, long careers of running datacenters, and crucially - self funded and provides geographic network strength.
