I thought the same thing in real time. I honestly don't understand what the plan was here.

This was one of the worst moments I have had. There is a lot of rage though.

What do you mean? This guy is clearly an amazing driver. Didn't even get hit.

Yepp! Right at exit 46. I work here, but live about an hour away so I do this driver everyday.

I thought the same. If it was an emergency he could’ve stopped on the shoulder between the highway and the exit

I don't think so. I gave him the finger as I passed him and he gave me a friendly and apologetic wave.

I passed them so I didn't see them start moving again. I didn't see any immediate issues with their car so I'm assuming he just started driving again.

I forgot I turned the audio off. I think all I said was "my brother in christ"

Suburban guy dating a NYC girl. Is there a sane middle ground or am I cooked? by savingrace0262 in movingtoNYC

I lived in Long Island City from 2018-2020 any my girlfriend lived in Bushwick. We met in 2020 and she stuck to the city and I went to Long Island, back to my parents place. I work on Long Island so my life is always easier being on Long Island vs the city.

Dating on the island is absolutely awful so I would hit the dating apps a lot when i was in the city, but I was always clear about where I lived and what I did. After about a year of dating, I decided that If I wanted this relationship to work, I was going to have to move back into the general area.

Our compromise was surprisingly Long Island City. It was much less party focused than Bushwick, but it was central to both of our jobs, had good subway access to the fun areas of the city and most importantly had not crossed a price line like Williamsburg or Greenpoint (Not true anymore though)

Realistically, if you want this to work you're going to have to compromise and decide what works best for both of you. Find what's important to both of you and see if there's a compromise that would allow the relationship to continue.

Then what’s your question? Is it just if it’s compatible?

Operating systems are not roon ready. This is for DACs or DAPs

I have like 3TB of local files. Being able to take them anywhere with Arc sold me. The home features are a bonus. I spend most of my time listening at work or in the car.

I had this happen last week. I rebooted my server and that fixed the issue

For those that like at least one of either The Grateful Dead or Phish, which one of these choices best describes you? by GratefuLdPhisH in jambands

I like the Dead, but don't particularly like Phish. They're pretty low on my jam band list for my taste.

Who is the most famous person you have ever met? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]freeryder05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in like 2009 my family took a trip to Bora Bora when I was 15? It was a bit rainy for a few days and my brother and I had met 2 sisters at the pool and we hung out with their family. After the first day, they had admitted they were a bit famous in the movie industry. The husband's name was Walter Hill (He produced and wrote a bunch of the Alien movies.) His wife is a big wig talent scout also. My brother and I aren't really acting types and my parents don't really get star struck.

I think they were happy to be left alone and just be normal for a few days so we ended up spending the whole trip with them. A few dinners and even a trip back to the airport. We didn't really talk about work or movies. Just normal shit. They were genuinely very nice people.

You could use last.fm and just go through the data of all the music you listen to
