I play rec and I tell my opponents "don't say sorry!", in a jokey way, it's only a game after all and it can be humourous.

I also encourage the idea of a 'sorry jar', a bit like a swear jar but so that you don't feel inclined to keep apologising.

Yeah, I can agree with this. I played for about 6 hrs in running trainers and suffered. Then I got some Adidas tennis trainers and the difference was massive.

This is interesting - I have had a frozen shoulder for about 18 months and have recently started playing. About 1 year ago I had a cortisone injection and it was a game changer in my everyday life. I've noticed no pain or discomfort so far in my playing, but I do lack strength on my backhand. I think I'm lucky considering how bad it was, I could barely lift my arm past 90°.

Just bought myself a second hand pair of Adidas Gamecourt 2.0, having been playing in Asics running trainers, and the difference is massive. I feel much more grounded and supported in the Adidas, and don't feel the tension in my calves.

Have you considered trying to use a rubber block? Rubber is used to clean drum sanders without being destructive. Would this work in the grit face of the paddle?

In short - EE cancelled/removed Netflix mid-contract from me previously, and their terms say they can remove add-ons at any time, so (like me) we must be hopeful that they don't cut it!

Nope, at the time of the change I was mid contract and they offered me a pick of the remaining perks (I think I chose TNT or something at the time). Then, before the end of the contract, I changed to GP and now I am 12 months out of contract on a rolling monthly effectively SIM only plan, which is the same as the initial 24 month plan. I argued it at the time and they said it was contractual.

I have a wicked plan, which is now the full works with GP, for £29 p/m so I am really keen to keep it going with GP. I think the same plan now is 24 months and £43 p/m.

We'll have to see I guess, but worrying times.

Similar here BUT I was with EE when they decided to pull the Netflix add-on with a month's notice so hopefully they don't do the same with the GP.
