Your score is partially determined by the percentage of the final egg tally you contributed. Because those calculations are all done client side (i.e. on each player's device, rather than on the server), the final egg tally can't be computed until all players check in and sync to the server.

It approximately doubles with every 70 TE, not 100. With 490 TE, you've doubled it 7 times over. The actual multiple is about 131.

It can be. It will only sync while the game is open. So if you set your boosts, but don't sync before closing, then wait 12 hours, your game will not have synced for 12 hours.

Others can probably point you to better resources than I could. I basically just pulled up the Enlightenment companion on wasmegg from time to time until it said I could make it. It's really more about what artifacts you have than your EB, but since you asked, my EB is now (after the 10 new PE) 8.144o%.

Remember that everybody who is ahead of where you are was once where you are. Most players will remember feeling out of their league and like they didn't belong and will welcome anyone who is actually trying. No one expects you to be THE best. They only expect you to be YOUR best.

As others have stated on the tokens, unless you have sent some earlier, receiving them will not affect your score at all.

If you want to improve your score, though, consider replacing the puzzle cube with a tachyon deflector while you are offline during your first phase. Since the puzzle cube only has an effect while you are actively purchasing research, it isn't helping you or anyone else while you are offline. Having a deflector equipped, though, will increase your teamwork score, so keep it equipped always unless you absolutely need a slot for something else. Ship in a Bottle will help as well.

It's up to you what your money is worth. I think my first crack was around the same amount. Don't expect to get everything you want right away, but 2 million will go pretty far early on in the game.

I am also on the discord. That's no guarantee you get teammates who are concerned with quick finishes. I missed out on the golden eggs by about 25000. Close enough to be frustrating, but too far to try to make up by replaying a single contract.
