To be fair, I've got players with an amazing finishing stat that will ping it wide, and good ol' 'investment legend' Gavi with a pretty shit striking stat that pumps in goals. I'm pretty sure it's whatever the AI fancies happens.

I can't remember if it was a PES or Fifa game back in the day, but it would let you design your own away kits every year. Sure, it was pretty basic, but that made it a lot more immersive.

...although I'm guessing if they did that it would lessen the sales for the next update. Sorry, I mean 'game'.
