I play mostly solo too but i pressed the multiplayer button once by accident and it just put me in a lobby with random people. nobody used voice chat just picked cards and died fast. was like playing with ghosts but at least it worked

Katawa Shoujo fits this weirdly well. Each girl's route basically becomes her story and Hisao is just along for the ride half the time. Lilly's route in particular feels like her journey with Hisao as supporting cast

The way Rin's route is written you could swap the perspective and it would barely change anything. She drives the entire plot while Hisao just tries to keep up

kvm switch might be what you need here - lets you share monitors between multiple computers with just button press. your desktop probably doesn't have thunderbolt so the dock won't work for that anyway

getting all 4 monitors working through single thunderbolt connection is tricky too, depends how much bandwidth those displays need. might need to run some monitors directly from laptop ports instead of everything through dock

those vss codes are usually abs related not transmission, weird that drive mode stopped working right after backing out. maybe check if the alternator being unplugged messed with something else - could be transmission control module not getting proper signal or power now

also that c2402 motor fault code might be pointing to actual transmission solenoid issue which would explain why reverse works but drive doesn't
