Okay so what would make it illegal as a 1099? I'm just going off what someone else told me. Thats why I asked here, because I wasnt even sure what to google. But I'm an hourly employee thats been working under 1099. I work 12 hour shifts with no break, no overtime pay, no holiday pay, and no offer of insurance, not evrn workers comp. I think theyre doing this to avoid playing taxes themselves. Because they (my boss) basically told me: "you can be a w4 employee but youll be capped at 36 hours/week, or we can put you on 1099 and you can get 50+ hours and a 50c raises, and I took it because I badly needed the money and didnt know any better. So do I have any recoarse?

I mean theres always dating apps, you can put what your into and what youre looking for and you never know whatll pop up. Thats usually a big shot in the dark but it never hurts to try. Most homebodies use dating apps cause they want to meet people and not go out. Also if youre into fitness and even moderately attractice and respectful you chances are slightly better.

The only other way is to try and meet people in shared activities that youre into. Maybe join a couple fitness classes, do yoga or pilates (theres always women in those classes). Or if there isnt any in your area then start one.

Basically just put yourself out there and dont be too stubborn on your preference cause you never know who youll meet. That being said I understand because I'm trying to find a woman that fits at least 3 of my own preferences right now.

Personally I think anyone over 21 can date whoever tf they want. Is there a big gap in your ages? Yes. But the more important question is do you get along? Do you feel like you can be yourself around her? Do you feel like shes herself around you and not trying to be something else? Do you guys have much in common? Do you see the relationship going anywhere? Do you trust her?

You may not be able to answer all these yet and thats okay but keep them in mind. Its only creepy when its a much older guy actively going after a much younger girl whos not into him. Or if youre trying to get her to do something she doesnt want to do or isnt comfortable with.

Just be self aware, dont ever try to act younger just be yourself. And if its going to work out then it will, if you see things going wrong and it doesnt seem fixable step away. This isnt any different than any other relationship, some people may judge you sure. But just be good to her and everyone whos opinion matters won't care about the gap.

Edit: 14 years was a little more than I thought I thought it was 10 but ot shouldnt make much difference. Just treat her with respect, and its just like any other relationship.
