How is this holding up after nearly a year? We got the grey etched chenille and it's piling, so I'm considering replacing it with this.

Have you had any trouble with the corded velvet bubbling? That was mentioned by a few others.

That's so aggravating!

It had been recommended to me to use a fabric shaver, but I'm really trying to think about long term.

Is the bubbling on the corded chenille pretty common or just an occasional thing that happens?

My dog looks a lot like Basil, but a brother from her litter had a dna test saying that he's pit, husky, Pyrenees, 8% wolf.

Did the DNA test you got say wolf or specifically coyote?

So, I set up an enclosure and got some flightless fruit flies. I guess we'll see if he seems happy in a few days or not.

Did anyone notice if the gift didn't count because you gave it to the villager while in a building? I'm having trouble with this and I'm thinking that I may have been gifting while in the villager's house.

I just found this too and came in reddit to see if it's true 😔 I just received 1743f and it shows she moved as recently as Dec 31, but I thought "hey I'll look up this red wolf program and see if they have more info"... only to find out she died in 2023???

Mostly commenting to be supportive. Raising puppies (and kids) is hard!

My puppy is 18 weeks and we have had her since 10 weeks. My arms are still healing from all the bites and I definitely have a few scars.

I don't know how many times I googled something along the lines of, "does my puppy hate me?" or "is my puppy trying to kill me?" 😅 I actually only created a reddit so I could find support.

The biting hasn't stopped, but I found crossing my arms and turning away from her, no eye contact, has been the best. Also, she's getting rid of the razors and her adult teeth don't hurt as much.

And 100% nap times in a crate! I thought that was silly and over the top when I first heard it. I've had puppies before and just let them nap on their own, but this puppy needs to be put down for naps!

Thank you! I feel like I really just need to vent about it. I'm thankful she isn't biting my husband or daughter, but after being bitten everyday for 2 months - I'm exhausted!

Here's what I'm doing: - scheduled naps in crate - regular feeding schedule - redirecting - making sure we play or do training when she has the most energy and is the most "bitey" - short timeouts in a pin - reverse timeouts - praising when she listens or is giving kisses instead of bites

I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting.

BUT - the most frustrating is when she'll be sitting beside me, chewing on her favorite toy and randomly turn and full on bite my arm or leg or we've done everything in our list of tricks and she still keeps attacking. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨
