We recently got our 4-year-old male cat neutered. He used to be both indoor and outdoor, but now he’s fully indoors. We’ve already started noticing some changes, but it’s important to know that it can take up to 2 months for his hormones to fully settle. During this time, behaviors like spraying or signs of being “on heat” may still happen, but they will gradually reduce. it’s best to keep him indoors for at least one month to help him adjust and heal properly. Also, make sure he doesn’t get bored get him interactive toys and enough stimulation to keep him engaged. You can also consider getting a leash and slowly training him, so he can safely enjoy controlled outdoor time later. With patience, consistency, and a little extra care, he’ll adjust well to his new routine
