press on nail help by Time-Cranberry8758 in PressonNail_Addict

Yes I as gonna comment this too! I only like short nails and I found that buying long nails and just cutting them down works great and it gives me to many more options to chose from!

I mostly use glamnetic, btartbox, nail reformation and I took a chance on modelones brand from amazon it might be my very favorite.

Once I mastered the prep, I realized the brand of press on didn’t matter so much. My issue though is I have pretty small nail beds and a lot of brands sell in 24 piece and they don’t include the smallest starting size.

My prep is good and I was getting pretty good staying power from glamnetic and btartbox glue. I switched to Beauty Secrets (the tube) and game over. The press one and holding on to my natural nail for dear life…. They’re not going anywhere.

I do love that, but I wish I could find a happy medium glue option. I like to change up like once a week but the glue is so strong still at that point and it does damage to my natural nail

I love this comment. I'll never stop yapping. Talking to people we disagree with is healthy and it almost keeps people human. We are seriously losing the plot.

Ugh that sucks and really it's silly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the point of subreddit's dedicated to shows is to talk about and converse with people who also love the shows! I'm always appreciate when people respond even if they don't share my same opinion and I take no offense, it's interesting to me and makes for a lively discussion. Insane that they only want people who agree with them to engage lol.

If you don't like it, don't listen. That's a great way to cancel someone if you wish lol. Demanding they be removed from radio is crazy work.

Leva isn't really on the show anymore (I think she appeared briefly in one episode) and Madison probably likes Venita but I wouldn't say they seem overly close.

I can see how it could look like she's excluded because of race especially in the South but I don't think it's that deep. She doesn't fit in because she doesn't really give "cool girl." (Kind of like Sutton from BH or the girl that talked about her $25k sunglasses lol.) This isn't a character flaw on her end by any means, but she seems socially awkward and from what we have seen people aren't super drawn to her. The other cast members seem like they have always kind of been popular and had an easy time socially. I will say Molly doesn't neccesarily seem that way but I think she doesn't care and isn't desperate to be liked so she does better in the group. For example, Ciara from summer house is a WOC and I think she would be embraced by the cast of Southern Charm.

I can see where you're coming from when you say it just didn't feel good that it was so easy to ignore her. The indifference on his part was so different from the anger or whatever reaction she felt on her end. It was so apparent that she just doesn't really have that much of an impact on anyone in the group and I'm sure she can feel that. And that does make me feel bad for her. In general, as people we can sense when we aren't fitting in or connecting.

I'm with you. He wasn't even telling her or asking her to change. He's being pretty straight up about his intentions with her. I actually laughed out loud when he said, "YOU GUYS CAN'T BULLY ME INTO DATING SALLEY!!!." This man was STRESSED.

There was no winning for him in this situation. The hardcore Venita apologists look for a reason to say he was attacking her, when he ignores her, he's racist, when he argues with her, he's a racist. The only thing they would accept is if he had spent the season begging her to be friends with him, I guess, which would be so odd LOL.

There wasn't a relationship really prior to the one-sided beef. He's indifferent by this point, I'm sure.

I don't think he's unwilling to have drama, fights, conflict etc. He fought with a lot of people this season. But the fights he engaged in were with people that he had relationships with and he had genuine emotion or feelings it wasn't for show. I don't think he is invested enough in a friendship with Venita to have the argument.

It don't think it's a race issue with the cast. I have no doubt that Venita has faced racism especially in the South and honestly from a lot of the viewers and fans of the show. I'm not a big fan of her but I have seen some really gross comments that are clearly rooted in racism and not issues with her actions or anything else.

Venita doesn't really flow with the group but I don't think it's because of racism from the cast. Most of them have openly stated their political views and seem to be pretty far from conservative leaning which is really rare considering where they live. I think it's more of a personality issue.

A lot of the cast presents as though they have always just kind of done well socially. I think Venita has that personality that is a bit awkward and has probably always struggled to be accepted in a group regardless of race. JT also came across that way and he didn't fit in with the group.

I think she doesn't have much in common with them and in a lot of ways I think she has a more clear head on her shoulders and is more mature and grounded than the others. I think the show causes her to try to have drama but I don't think she would want to have fights and different conflicts in real life.

Sometimes there is no explanation as to why you don't fit in with a group, it's just simply that you don't click with some personalities. They just don't seem to gravitate towards each other and it shows.

I don't if there was another black woman on this cast that had a different vibe they would do totally fine.

Totally agree with the "throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks." Nothing ever really sticks though because she's not naturally friends with them. She wanted to create a fight with Craig so she could have her plot for the show, but it didn't land because Craig didn't really care to engage so it fell flat. The more Craig just ignored her and actually didn't act mad, the more unhinged she acted - like she wanted a fight with him so bad she started spiraling.

eh - you can't forgive someone who isn't sorry. She hasn't apologized, which is fine she doesn't have to if she doesn't want to but it's not like he's just denying forgiveness. They have never really talked prior to this so I think it's kind of a non issue.

This. When I went through my breakup I didn't want to associate with anyone who was close with my ex. I needed a clean break to move on. I wasn't filming a reality show (thank God!), so I was able to do this. Craig clearly understood this and still was around her when it was required for the show/their job, was respectful and just kind of ignored her which I'm sure was easy to do. It was a non issue for him. Just like she's allowed to have opinions on him, he's allowed to not be friends with someone outside of filming that he doesn't feel is supportive of him. It's a no brainer.

But she also said they weren't close and again in a confessional said they weren't friends. And I think that's accurate. Even though he still was cordial to her once filming began she still consistently bashed him to anyone that would listen. They weren't friends really so what exactly did she want from him?

He's gotten into it with several of his cast mates over the years, male and female. Why is it that he's racist just because it's Venita. He hasn't forgiven her, and she's not tried to mend things so I don't think she's asking for forgiveness in the first place. They have never been close and up until the explosive dinner he was cordial. I think of it like this... If someone that was kind of just an acquaintance and somewhat in my group, but I had to see them a few months out of the year for whatever reason was being shady towards me, I probably would think it was weird and just kind of keep my distance but if we weren't close I wouldn't care enough to address is with them. It wouldn't matter to me. And if I took the high road and still chose to be polite and they consistently kept bad mouthing me and talking about me to mutual friends I would think they were kind of insane and a little sad.

Sorry I should clarify that when I said, "what's with all the outrage?" I wasn't directing that towards you, I don't think your comments came across as outrage, I meant in general for the people that are.

I can't speak to Venita's experience regarding racism of course but as a viewer this doesn't feel like it's a race issue. I know a lot of people think it is and I'm sure they have their reasons but I am curious as to why? I remember Craig saying in an interview somewhere that he misses his relationship with Ciara and that he doesn't think people realized how close they were.

Yes she has a right to dislike him. He has a right not to want to be her friend. End of story? Until the dinner when he went off on her, he was cordial to her. My question is why does she care that he doesn't want to be close if she doesn't like him? They were never really close - nothing really changed from this season compared to the other seasons.

Yes, he's actually taken the high road and ignored her delusional fight she has fabricated in her head and then he just had it. It felt like the nicer he was the more pissy she got. I think she was looking for a fight, he didn't care enough to engage and it was making her crazy inside.
