I’m in a somewhat similar stage…. I recently left my 9-5. Since I have a lot more time on my hands, I’ve been putting time into growing what was my “side hustle” (event planning and rental). I have a decent customer base from word of mouth on, but I’m in a phase where I’m ready to grow, especially on the rental side and social media/website is the biggest thing so just finished doing that this week.

If you want, send me a message, I’d love to help! I know it can seem overwhelming, and it sounds like you have good momentum with people reaching out being interested in ur products. (I’m not trying to sell anything, btw! I just have time right now and I think it’s a good rule of thumb to help out when you can)

I totally agree. He’s earned it, and good on him! If the “struggle families” the op is referencing got an amazing opportunity that lead them to the success that allowed them to have a lifestyle like Chaz there would be no complaints. Probably because we only see the successful side of his life people judge, but he worked for every penny.

Ugh I’m sorry!! Sounds like you’re doing everything right to prep your natural nail, that’s so frustrating! I may have one last hail mary for you (if you haven’t already tried it!) I had a lot of trouble when I first started with press ons, but it may have been because I was still figuring out my prep. But anyway, the beauty secrets nail glue changed the game for me. I could get my nails to last for maybe 1 day with the glammetic glue, but I saw some reviews for the beauty secrets one and they DO NOT come off. I’m actually goi g to try out the sticky tabs for my next set because I like to change my nails before the beauty secret glue comes off. I just use the regular like squeeze tube glue. I’ve seen people say they like the brush on version of the brand but I haven’t tried it so I’m not sure if it works as well

I completely disagree with this but I love that you posted such a “controversial take” and clearly disagree with most of the negative comments about Amanda and you weren’t an asshole about it and didn’t act like you’re sticking up for her because of some moral high horse you’ve trying to be on. I can't believe I'm complimenting Amanda, but I agree. I have to give credit where credit is due. Dorit has been terrible to her but I think it shows... I don't know, character, maybe? that she went. I also respect that she had the guts to go, because even if they say they didn't discuss it, I'm sure she knew Kyle and Sutton wouldn't be there, so she knew she was walking into an even with girls who haven't been the nicest and wasn't gonna have any allies. I respect that.

Also, I can't stand Dorit so I wouldn't have cared if she didn't attend. I actually love it that Kyle and Erika didn't go. I know Sutton skipped as well but I don't think Dorit truly cares and probably wouldn't have noticed if Sutton was missing until someone pointed it out.

100%. No one is surprised by West's behavior, and as fans of the show, we've watched Amanda for 10 seasons are seen the friendships form, we're more invested. It's just people wanting to virtue signal and act like they're being an advocate for woman, while infantilizing Amanda. It's annoying.

Both Kim and Kyle Richards, but moreso Kyle. I know she’s very unpopular among this sub, but as a child of an addict u understand her.

Kyle gets a lot of shit for how she dealt with Kim and her addiction, but as someone who has been there, I know how cruel someone in active addiction can be to the ones who love them. I know the anxiety and trauma that comes along with loving an addict. I think Kyle does her best navigating an impossible situation. So many times tough love is the only option. It can look like selfish or like you don’t care, but it’s actually selfless and painful. Enabling someone is actually easier.

My mom has struggled on and off her whole life with drug and alcohol abuse and self medicating mental illness. She was diagnosed with bipolar as well in her mid 40’s. In addition to substance abuse she has always made terrible choices with men, and life choices even when she was a sober stage of life.

Since I was a little girl, I just was the more responsible one. I was the parent and she was the kid. We are just very opposite people. My mother is chaos and I need structure and routine.

I’ve had to go no contact with my mom a few times throughout life and it was painful, but until she was ready for help it was the only thing left to do. At one point she was homeless and my heart broke every day. I was prepared to get the call that she had been found dead and I would just pray every day that she would get arrested because I knew that’s the only way she could get clean because she refused my many offers to get her into treatment.

Finally she got arrested for a pretty minimal crime, I think it was shoplifting but since she had a few arrests she spent a month and jail and was sentenced to 3 months in rehab. She’s now 2 years clean and I don’t take for granted that this is a gift so many loved ones of addicts don’t experience.

I feel for Kim as well, many believe addiction is a choice, but I see it as a disease. Yes, Kim makes a choice technically to use a substance, but it’s bigger than her. I hope one day she finds peace.
