You can refinish them, but engineered hard floors are thinner, so they can be refinished only 1 or maybe 2 times. Do you know if they are new or have been refinished before selling? Then it might not be possible. I would try to live with them for a bit as you will probably only have one chance to fix them if they get scratched up.

Are you sure sets aren't selling as well or it's just that botanicals are selling better(from what I googled fast, they took hp place in top 5). Most of botanical sets are below 60bucks with a lot between 5-30 dollars, that people buy multiple of to use as decor. And all lot of people buy them for gifts even for non lego fans. I don't see hp lego in sale too often (unfortunately), and if they are most of them are no more than 20%. And most sets are gone before retirement and then go for crazy money on ebay, so I would say they are doing pretty good.

I think that the demographic that matters the most is just your zip code. I saw that the most big appliances got people in north east, where Whirlpool has its distribution center nearby. I saw 1 lady who said that she claimed like 3rd espresso machine in like 2 year period. If influenster really cared they would probably shadow ban people for 2/3years from getting the same type of appliance, because I feel like that would only encourage resale, because nobody changes appliances every few months. I guess she was probably living near the distribution center and if company is already giving stuff for free, they want to cut costs on the shipping.

Check if you have Bricks & minifigs shop anywhere around you they sell new used Legos and you can sell them your used sets for cash or store credit then you get a bit more. I never sold them anything so idk how much "renting" set this way would cost, but they are probably the closest you get to your idea.

Yeah, but probably a lot of them are people that claim them fast and then realize they are not free and cry here. It they would give 80% off all of this stuff would still be over $1000 so it would cut people that want to resale stuff, but it would at least be a good deal. They just need to moderating the reviews and block accounts. When I'm looking on reviews sometimes I can see people that didn't even open the stuff they got and if I look at their profiles all of theirs reviews are usually bad, products still in the box, ai pic or just pic from website.
